Yes, very good to hear #2 is back on the ice and not hurt. +3, 2a and 4 shots for him, so far today. Courtnall scores 2.4seconds left in 2nd and 4-2
-
Defensive side of game is improved for Habs this year. Should be a nice new rookie crop in Hamilton next fall with; Bozon, Thrower, Crisp, Nevins, Vail, Hudon, Bennett and maybe a Swede or 2 possibly suiting up?
-
Pateryn knucklepuck shot which Blunden puts in. 2-1 Dogs and Dumont/Blunden with 2nd points of game Swiss Kid strikes again 3-1 Dogs.
-
The only thing I would disagree with is his mobility isn't what it once was and will not improve over next few years. But I agree with dlbalr and slim chance Markov is going anywhere. And all the 'intangibles' his presence would bring to youngsters and as a career Hab wanting to retire a Hab, should be considered.

Dumont scores but tied 1-1 after 1.
-
It is not that he isn't have a fine year and playing 25+minutes/game, but what is the term he will accept or is looking for? I think all would quickly offer him a 1 year deal, most would likely offer him a 2 year deal, but 3 years just seems like 1 too many. But, if Ducks (Vatanen-young RH d-man) or some other team offers up a blue chip prospect or 'good' stuff, got to consider offers.

Gregoire 59games 32g, 69points Vail 61 .........31g, 79pts Bozon 63......33g, 69pts Hudon 51games 71 pts Reway 37games 57pts These plus the 2 goons, Thrower, Fucale and all CHLers seem to all be doing quite well this year. (cept the London Knight, who is the one underperformer)
-
Crisp get 2a and 3rd star, as Sudbury score 6 straight to win 6-5.
-
Back on track, good to see Holland get shootout goal and Dumont as well.
-
But he was called up for a while and no icetime? Why didn't they run him out 1 game instead of Boullion/Murray, maybe he is already penciled in to mentor Bennett-Thrower-Dietz next fall and really is 9th/10th in depth chart?
-
Sounds like Beaulieu active and playing better in this one. The choice of Tinordi likely dosent sit too well with him. Would like to see Pateryn get a crack with big club sometime this spring.
-
A whooping 18 saves eh. That Ehlers kid is piling up points in front of him. Bozon with his 33rd goal in 1st period today.
-
You must get some scout scouting report or something do you? None of interest at Dogs game?

went from 4th to 20th in goals/game but 14th to 8th in GAA If top 10 in defense, can still do well and why Habs are sitting in a good spot and more likely to make playoffs than miss. In the fall, I thought Habs finish 7th/8th in East and are bit above my expectations. -
Swiss kid scores to tie it up
-
Well l can scratch Steve Ott off my wishlist, gone to Blues
-
Well, off to slow start and down 1-0 in 1st.

I am 'pleased' with state of habs roster/mgmt and got few complaints. And with so many being 'over the top' on Therrien bashing, is fair for someone to be the opposite, no? And just dont see why the 'negativity', win or lose dosent matter, just seems neverending. I get, there is lots of debatable stuff for sure, but 'tar and feather' Therrien seems a bit uncalled to me. Unless team was tanking and sinking, when predicted to contend in the fall, then i might be on-board with my torch and pitchfork as well. Didnt Gallagher-Galchenyuk develop OK last year and Subban, correct me if wrong, was voted best d-man? not bad for Therrien and crew. cheers -

There is a 'Fire Therrien' thread. Bad coaching! Sure wish we had that Babcock guy....opps sorry he is another you guys all also called an ' idiot' who made 'moronic' decisions. But the team isn't winning, I mean look at the Habs record since he took over it just sucks......., and the year before Therrien, the team was such a frickin powerhouse and he is driving that well-oiled machine into the ground....what a dumbass. But, but, but what about Galchenyuk, he isn't gonna score 30 goals and Subban is only on 52point pace, he is being freakin ruined and will be a shell of a man by the summer! Sorry, I mean a very wealthy shell of a man. The sky is fallin....... -
Last time is aw him play, several months ago, he was less than impressive.
-
Might de la Rose stay in North America, unlikely eh? His Swedish contract is up end of April, might he go Henrik Samuelsson route and try CHL if not AHL?

Funny how Habs fill net with pucks to bail out Red Light Budaj, who then shuts down Pens in shootout, beat best team in east, move into 3rd place and you would think some fans besides me might be pleased with win, but am in small minority I guess. -

Briere seems to thrive with few shifts, 3points in 9minutes of ice. Tinordi and Murray actually move the puck better than I thought they would. 3rd in the East, not bad. Poor Subban, so mistreated! It is Therrien;s fault he took 2 selfish penalties in last game and managed to be the only -2 Hab yesterday. -
