  1. Ya, frickin overpaid bum! And did you see Keith make that turnover in some game or Weber coughed up the puck once, surely we have better d-men to pick. Pietroangelo, sure glad he isn't a Hab, simply not very good.
  2. Just a dated joke brother and simply cant fathom why so down on team? But you are not alone and seems 99.9% of Habfans are of similar opinion, so it is mself who is likely out to lunch, but I am 100% fine with roster and is splitting hairs who should-could be in lineup or not and quite irrelevant to me. Cept to pick on those who seem to want team to fail simply out of spite, or keep saying Hockey Canada is a bunch of buffoons, which I really disagree with.
  3. So one vet added will make Habs = to Hawks-St. Louis and Pitt and a weaker team for next few years is OK price to pay, if can get maybe to 3rd round this spring? Sorry, dont see selling future as smart move to make at overpayment deadline. Maybe a 'hockey deal' like Eller for X and Markov for future stuff. But not shipping out picks/prospects for a rental.
  4. Put PK in Crosbys' spot and scratch 87! Crosby is most overrated player on team. Simply not a clutch player when it counts.
  5. Bozon gets 1g 2a, with 2 EN points. Hudon & Gregoire 1g 1a each
  6. Kudos to Ovechkin for standing up and being the 1 russian doing media interview right after loss and acting more like a leader, he is maturing. Finns could easily upset anyone with Rask.
  7. Bozon has had numerous scoring chances tonight and seems most likely guy to score. Tigers blocking ton of shots and have good d.
  8. East or left coast? is a close call?
  9. 2 super rival match ups for Semi finals anyways. 55 saves on 57 shots, Latvian goalie got peppered.
  10. A dumbass like Mike Milbury wouldn't be afraid to ship out blue chippers for crap. So is Bergevin closer to a one end of spectrum-Milbury and the other in SP? We will see what he does/dosent do in next 2 weeks as one test or fork in road for him. I bet he takes very conservative route, fan-GMs be damned.
  11. Perry's Subbanian spinarama move was pretty slick. Kunitz wide open net hits crossbar & Crosby wide frickin open 20 feet in front of goalie and cant bury it, has got little to do with Babcock. forgot , Go Canada
  12. Vail (29th) 1g vs McCarron 1a yesterday Gregoire (29th) from Hudon after 2nd period, Bozon with 28 goals and playing tonight, which of the three will get to 30 first.
  13. No, don't need to and highly unlikely he will be moved. Iginla might not of got much, but he wasn't a puck moving d-man and even Murray got 2 2nd round picks. But how do the young d-prospects rate, can you have Beaulieu and Pateryn in the top six and compete in playoffs? Does Bergevin have a younger top-4 RH d-man already lined up in a 2nd deal (initials DB #33) which would make Markov expendable? Or should loyalty and sentimentality factor in and he also may be a good ol vet leader in dressing room for 3 more years?
  14. Looking forward to Galchenyuk coming back, especially if Bournival still <100%. But should be a nice offensive upgrade no matter how you look at it.
  15. Yes, no freakin question! Take DD out of top 6 and play Eller exact same linemates, PP icetime and that DD has recieved and then if Eller dosent produce i may buy what you are selling. But, till then as the #1 hitting, shot blocking and facoff centre on Habs, you cant compare nor say he is in any major slump.
  16. Sure, why not? Don't you know eastern teams suck, Habs aint got a hope to contend, Therrien is bad coach and Bergevin hasn't made a big trade, which is the measure of good GMing and the smurf hobbits...don't forget about them.
  17. Will have to watch replay of game, but imagine will be pretty much over early. Hope Price can get shutout.
  18. Sentimentality aside, likely adding a late 1st round pick + bit more for Markov must be tempting option for Bergevin. 2 weeks or less to find out a bit more about Bergevins' mgmt. style and take on his current roster.
  19. Well Yemelin-Markov can head back to Montreal relatively early (if not sent to Siberia by Putin). Should be 2 good semi-finals Sweden-Finland & USA-us. Plekanec had good showing.
  20. And the 2nd year in world juniors he was a star d-man, after being a bit player the year before. Wouldn't matter one bit who is on roster or scratched if don't win gold, Hockey Canada will be roasted from top to bottom as a huge failure, same as ever. Bigger question, will Crosby get a hat trick vs Latvia and team get to double-digits in goals?
  21. I see Adrian Kemp @ 15th on a consensus ranking, so looking he will likely be gone if Habs picking in the 20s. Surprising to see him that high. Got a take on 2 other RW swedes; David Pastrnak or Anton Karlsson? Someone mentioned Timmins at Blades game, I assume checking out Nikita Scherbak.
  22. If only mgmt. would pay attention to 'the stats' and they might of been undefeated so far. I know all the pessimists and "the stats" say they would of had 3 shut outs and boatload of goals for; if only 76 was in the lineup. ( and if they happen to win gold, I imagine it will be "in spite' of Babcock dumb choices). Anyways, however you want to spin-it, Go Canada (and kick some Latvian butt)!
  23. don't worry bout it bud, he was just cranky.
