  1. Bisson & Kidney score, up 2-1 mid 2nd
  2. A 6'4" physical centre who can skate... cant see him lasting very long and fully expect he wont be an option at 7, but maybe at 5, if somehow both Sens/Coyotes can go on winning streaks.
  3. 10 Thoughts: Bruins Edge Habs in Close Affair – HabsWorld.net I guess few goals against was 'good' and PK is killing it. Armia has some strong play again 3 shots 4 hits 4 points in last 3 games for Slafkovski and great work by Caufield to outmuscle Carlo to make it happen.
  4. Xhekaj 0pts 7 shots 7/18, Sobolev 2a
  5. Older graph; but i dont think has changed much if any.
  6. Sure wish Habs could find a captain as classy as a Marchand.
  7. Engstrom may be ready for North America hockey soon'ish'. Timrå IK at Rögle BK 2:00 pm - SHL First Round (best-of-3) Adam Engström - ... 1g1a in 17:18 in 4-1 win
  8. Can they put on good performance before west road trip? On paper this one is one-sided. Canadiens Statistics Bruins 25-30-10 Record 39-14-15 44.7% (28th) Scoring-chances-for % 50.1% (18th) 2.75 (27th) Goals per game 3.28 (10th) 3.43 (26th) Goals against per game 2.70 (7th) 19.0% (22nd) PP% 23.7% (9th) 75.6% (27th) PK% 81.7% (8th) 1-2-0 Head-to-Head Record 2-0-1 Canadiens vs. Bruins: Game preview and how to watch (habseyesontheprize.com) It’s a bit of a Freaky Friday situation with Montreal in terms of short-handed play. At one point on the verge of falling to last place in the league in penalty-kill rate, Montreal has been the seventh-best team while down a man over the same time period in question. They haven’t allowed the opposition to score a man-advantage goal in the past five games, and that’s while facing three of the league’s top four power-play squads in Tampa Bay, Carolina, and Toronto.
  9. Habs prospects and everything you need to know about them. (awinninghabit.com) Florian, how will he do in the OHL playoffs?
  10. Reinbacher and this kid in top 4? RH d-man 2024 NHL Draft consensus big board: Macklin Celebrini, defensemen lead midseason list - The Athletic Michigan State blueliner Levshunov ultimately topped the position group on this composite, after receiving second overall rankings from Wheeler and Peters, and a third-place finish on McKenzie’s list. And for good reason: He’s been a force, with 30 points in 32 games as a freshman in the Big Ten. For context, 2021 first-overall pick Owen Power had 16 in 26, in the same conference. Overall Habs range for this composition ranking.
  11. 5-1 win Bridgeport Islanders @ Laval Rocket Wednesday, March 13, 2024 | TheAHL.com | The American Hockey League Heineman 1a 4 shots Kidney 6 shots Mailloux 1a Gignac 1g1a; 9points in last 3 games Dobes 1g 27shots
  12. If all things equal.. then will go with need, isnt that what he said? Which still seems late in game to make that choice. Surely between all scouts and Mgmt folks debating draft ranking, their list should be set in stone prior to the draft. And simply take highest left on their board when pick is up and not a wishy-washy 'well if 2 prospects are equal...."
  13. Not an easy one to figure out. I remember it was Crosby-Malkin-Letang-Kessel and ? on their PP and it was horrible. And lots of weapons again this year and Pens PP is 29th. At least Habs PP is improving overall (i know 22nd isnt great but 'better').
  14. Looks like this young fella likes playing vs the sickly Ducks.
  15. A match-up today that actually favours Laval
  16. Was a bunch of folks promoting Matheson not passing to Slafkovski as a huge issue, which i think was foolishness and overblown internet BS.
  17. Pronman has a different take on top kids. NHL Draft 2024 prospects ranking: Celebrini No. 1 on Corey Pronman’s list, Silayev and Dickinson next - The Athletic #2,3,4 & #5 are all d-man.
  18. Canadiens provided Cayden Primeau a stage, and he took full advantage to perform - The Athletic “Just the beginning,” he said, before skating off the ice to more applause.
  19. Was an entertaining game. Caufield 1a 6 shots, 5 points in last 5 games but 0 goals. Slafkovski with nice 1 timer; now with 14g20a, adding up. Roy, Newhook & Xhekaj had some nice plays. Glad Primeau was able to get shutout, he deserved it. St Louis started the Evans line and quickly paid off. 10 Thoughts: Primeau Stellar in Shutout Win – HabsWorld.net Canadiens scores three early, leave Cayden Primeau to do the rest (habseyesontheprize.com)
  20. Top picks at #6-7-8 (irrelevant i know but) Just seems a bit better chance of an elite d-man this year at pick 7 or 6, than a forward. No matter what Habs current roster needs are.
