I simply meant a "Vegas" scout, just odd to see and I guess the expansion draft will be in the background all year long. Scherbak and Galchenyuk wouldn't be a good PK pairing anytime soon that is for sure. But Timmins noted those two played well together last year, so might be interesting to see Scherbak get a chance to play with him.

Would like to see Scherbak get a game or at least a few shifts with Galchenyuk.

Saw bit of express game and Carr played like Gallagher-lite again and like Lehkonen getting into the slot and almost banged home tying goal along with Gallagher at the end. Gallagher, Carr, Byron and Lehkonen all seem like smaller guys not scared to go into a corner (although Lehkonen was only playing a 1/2 Jersey squad and not vs Rangers or Ducks)

The Vegas one stood out to me.

Did Therrien give Scherbak some 'spirited verbal feedback' after one shift? I heard Scherbak still has been lost without puck in training camp.

I thought Habs new assistant captain was gonna wrestle with #67 on USA team, after he ran a Canadian from behind yesterday and Weber grabbed a hold of Pacioretty. That would of been interesting.

I will take that bet. Especially with Windsor hosting Memorial Cup and Sergachev a lock to play world juniors in Toronto/Montreal in 3 more months and cant see him bumping anyone to play anything but 3rd pairing minutes. So, wont even get 1 regular season game, is my guess.

No not an attack, as I noted just a cheap shot (and if not, that is fine and nothing earth shattering). And as I also noted, GM say similar about vast majority (99.99%) of their players when asked by media, some might call it simply a cliché, no? Not, hey he said same thing about Subban, so must be some truth to it. And is it also not true that some seem to end up relating every thread back to Subban, no matter which thread or topic is being discussed/debated. Which is fine, but expect (sorry to say, mostly lame) cheap shots at those posts. Cant say anything else on quote because never read it, but Beaulieu is likely available is pretty weak, If Isles offered Tavares for Pacioretty, #67 would likely be quickly made available, as Sergachev would be for McDavid. So, safe to say that if offer is good enough, all players are available.

And Subban vs Beaulieu being traded...not even in same ballpark is it? I think Bergevin has made similar comments on most of his regular players hasn't he?

Not 'exactly', Bergevin likely spoke about Subban and not Beaulieu prior to dealing Subban. Not sure why every thread you like to try and spin into a Subban one, but consistent and predictable I suppose.
