  1. 40 saves for Condon and not a star of game eh?
  2. was a good call, he held him, no question
  3. Charlie gets his 10th and up 1-0 just 3minutes in 1st Nevins pounding dude in bout just after goal for 2nd fight of game already (Finley)! Supposedly a very spirited fight.
  4. Pretty hard to say that, when not a clue what would cost for full time player vs a rental. Vanek was a very good shot at boosting offense and was nice to be rid of him also. And maybe JJagr would fit same mold?
  5. Don't egg on the Blowout Crowd!! (blowout is one sign of apocalypse)
  6. DD and PAP played much better than Galchenyuk and Subban, not a shocker just truth. Weise and Prust also stood out and got nothing to do with language. It was another Therrien on ANtichamber who criticized team wasn't it? Gaston?
  7. Maybe, but would be costly to get Yakupov. Worth it when team is rolling along just fine? I am thinking Bergy will wait till Feb and see who is way out of playoffs and in sell mode.
  8. Great to see Prust get assist, another hard working game for him.
  9. Will Carolina be going to Quebec City, Vegas or Seattle?
  10. Weise 1a +2, 4 hits and 3 takeaways in 8 1/2minutes, efficient once again.
  11. 14:30 for Nate Gallagher taken more faceoffs than Galchenyuk
  12. Gotta love backhand shots, well done kid.
  13. Poor Tinordi, darn mgmt. just wont give him a shot..oh wait he has had numerous trial runs, with mixed results, but what Weaver, Allen, Gilbert do poorly, is just growing pains for lil Jared. Go ahead Jared have braindead turnovers, it is OK, no one will care. But Allen is tougher, Gilbert is superior skater and with puck and Weaver is steady and experienced. But when Pitt is tossing puck into Tinordi's corner over and over, it wont be by mistake nor that they are scared of a big young nervous d-man.
  14. Habs have improved offense this year, 19th (up from 21st last year). Going in right direction, if only can add one good d-man and boom will be a top scoring team you say? I know adding an all-star forward is dumber idea to get more scoring, but is the way I would tend to go (if making a big trade), instead of adding a Hainsey.
  15. D-men cant help Gallagher, DD, Plekanec, Galchenyuk etc bury wide open chances that a Stamkos, Kessel do not miss on. 1 All Star forward of the lot (#67), if even that at present, has zero to do with defense. Tinordi still has same point total as Beaulieu in less than 1/2 the games...fact, which is sad to say.
  16. Of course I didn't watch finals, is golf/fishing season at that time. June hockey is stupid and if Habs not playing, got less than zero interest.
  17. Lernout? who knows if he can make big league, I am terrible at guessing, I was a OByrne-Ellis-Valentenko-Weber-Belle-Henry fan, so what do I know? But, he seems unlike any d-man prospect they have. He is used on Broncos' PP, unlike a Tinordi and with his size and aptitude for the meaner side of game he likely is a better fit as a tough pro defender than Dietz or Thrower. But, are his feet quick enough and can he make decisions at pro speed, will be 2 biggest questions for me.
  18. Experimenting is an odd way to look at it, but is what Kings won with on back end, had several low-cost experienced 'character' d-men, didn't they? Habs lack offense and have difficulty scoring, not terrible defending, so why are so many focused on low minute d-men, is beyond me?
