  1. But they say cant win with this coach, no matter what lineup ya got? Is Beaulieu an offensive d-man? 17 games last year 2 points, 17 games this year 2 points, he actually was best as rookie with 2 points in 6 games. Needs more minutes? He is currently the only - d-man on team, even though being hidden on the ice playing vs bottom six. Nate the Great has had a good play or two, but..Tinordi still more pts/game and tad better in own end (..or sorry points don't matter, I keep forgetting)
  2. I assume is just another lucky win and if didn't have Price in nets..... Too bad is just a pretender team, I know.... don't get too excited, cheer or encourage em, just wait they will fail.
  3. It was scumbag Ulf Samullson, who ended Mondou's career wasn't it?
  4. agree soft call on Lindholm #76 of Habs is some scary in his own end
  5. DD don't need no Pacioretty! smart play an dnice to see Prust get one.
  6. Yes commandant can make a lot of sense but Bit late for you isn't it, way back there in Bluenose country!
  7. Zillions of games been played, have had some snow showers/game and little issue (other than flu I suppose). But yes does seem a bit odd......Mumps?
  8. Agree 99%, not sure "should come along just fine", as far as being a regular effective NHLer, only time will tell. But got better feeling that Tinordi will do fine at least. Would be a bonus if Hudon, Scherbak, Andrighetto, Tinordi, McCarron all make it, but odds are will be lucky if one or two of them amount to much.
  9. Sounds like some are quite high on USA d-man Santini, who was one like Hagg, or McCoshen who should of been taken before McCarron. But Ive got a soft spot for d-men.
  10. Tinordi is slim and not naturally big/thick ( as truculent) as his father was. McCarron seems to be naturally bigger and likely easier to pack on weight than say Tinordi. But both are 2 big dudes and just hope both have the foot speed/quickness to cut it in NHL, which tends to be biggest issue with X-large humans.
  11. Reway gonna play? Or is it beneath him to play with teenagers?
  12. What no about old d-men, poor coaching, stupid Markov contract today. And Plekanec 22points now, must be worth a 'he will still suck in playoffs comment". Funny how points all of a sudden don't matter, when used to show how useful a role and relatively productive DD actually is? So, wont hear anymore complaints about DD scoring/not-scoring I assume? Would be a nice change. A bit more optimism is always welcome. "..it does not seem too much use being anything else."
  13. and Kelly Buchberger now AHL coach, lame.
  14. A lot low on food chain, but maybe hard fro GM or president to fire himself. What a Gong Show!
  15. Bargain eh? Max 121 points past 3 years DD has 98points So given $4.5/yr vs $3.5/yr So tis a fact - DD has more offense/$ than his sidekick, for all the bitching about him he does OK. Habs offense has 3 guys at 54th in scoring (bit better lately); but at least Subban is 6th best d-man.
  16. Allen was one I guess. (he was inoculated but had minor symptoms or something, is a 5minute interview with Allen on HabsTV from today)
  17. Sorry...yes I meant as long as they were the core of team, which you are correct may not be very long before Lacavalier & Phaneuf would be Hawks, Keith/Toews are Leafs, hell freezes' over and Vince Vaughan's cancelled his season pass.
  18. Toews-Kane-Sharp-Hossa-Keith kinda would do good things..... even with P.J. Stock as President, GM & head coach!
  19. When Crazy Mike has been interviewed & asked about Andrighetto, Sekac, having Galchenyuk play centre, or the recall or demotion of Beaulieu, Therrien spouts darn 'sane' assessments that I bet most would likely have to agree with. But more sentimental is likely also somewhat true, as he has the fun experience of putting both feet in mouth before during career, so maybe really is bit older/wiser now?
