one person noted progressivehockey.com is/was their/his site?
-
Now he works for a hockey (sports) 'biostatistical' consultant and will primarily crunch habs numbers, or something like that is it?
-
MATT PFEFFER is the name. supposedly not full time Hab employee.
-
Thanks for correction and info sir. Didn't know it was 27, I thought it varied on pro experience/years service.
-
Thanks for update...Dr. Stogey. Is Thrower ever gonna be 100% healthy? Had kinda hoped he would become a Beauchamin-type d-man, but maybe he wont even make IceCaps roster?

Patrick Sharp in a Montreal jersey. Why Not?

No matter how you slice it, he should be an upgrade on Paranteau, unless are one of those who really feel he is spent and 78point 2013-14 season was his last solid year and last year is sign of things to come. I think is still a good player, but wouldn't sell the farm to add him. -
Hmm just assumed with age he would of been UFA, but going NCAA route extends that I guess.
-
Nice to see recent TVA video of Galchenyuk training, but seems a bit odd to be doing it in Belarus, when his pet peeve supposedly is "I am American not Russian!" haha
-
Why hasn't Fehr signed yet? Is he simply waiting for more $$ to be offered?
-
Was hinted the 2 GMs have also discussed Versteeg, Bickell, Kruger and Desjardins, as well as Mr. Sharp.
-
Next summer he would of been UFA. Which is why some thought was bit early to extend him, but big vote of confidence and lock him up cheaply I suppose.
-
Yup, was only 11th in NHL scoring for d-men last year. We could do a lot worse and I really do hope he never puts on a different NHL jersey. But, sometimes players just cant pack it in when they really should (eh Marty Brodeur).
-
WHAT IS HIS NAME! should be a contest to find that out?
-
But right now Lernout is a thin 6'4" 19 year old kid, but I love that Lefebvre had him playing PP and PK in his 6 games at end of year (but of course Bulldogs were very very thin on d at the time, but he held his own). And was good of him to basically give up fighting for last half of year and be a good weapon on the PP.

Am sure are lots of arrogant a-holes in the NHL, but they are still paid millions, because they can really play hockey well. They haven't scrimmaged any yet? Seems updated sizes are now posted; Artturi has reached 6'0", but at 174lbs never be a power forward. Bozon 207lb, great to see him come back so far, he was rail thin after coma. Thrower 212lb, Dietz 213, Lernout 210 and Bennett shrunk a bit 194lb (will never be big dude but can skate, make or break year for him) CH is 5'10" 191lb Gregoire 6'0" 193lb

Might Gilbert's contract be as much salary as Hawks could be willing to take back and perhaps trade Gilbert, Prospect X, pick Y for Sharp? Would Sharp fit by simply removing the $2.8m of Gilbert? Sounds like Hawks want/need to clear tons of cash still and maybe want to take zero $ back? -
Good! Because some of other moves new management are making seem to be smart.
-
Whaaat, you don't think it is totally coincidental they are related and end up in same organization? Sort of like PG Cougars GM, has one son, Jansen Harkins, on his team and then he just drafted his other son.
-
Yes, but maybe has nothing to do with not attending this camp? But was healthy scratch in the Q I think for swelled headitis.
-
Yes a bit surprising but maybe playing waiting game and has several interested parties all with low ball offers?
-
Go #6 go!
-
Yes, he is (I think) a super 1st pass guy and he said he prides himself on that, so he will get puck up ice quicker as will Beaulieu and 'should' lead to more scoring chances than if Murray, Gorges, Gilbert, Emelin was trying to move puck out of zone. But if he can score 10+goals with some being on the PP, then all is good.
-
You will get your wish, have no fear sir, he will not be signed and Sharp will be. Just spitballin what if's.
-
No, don't agree. He is as negative as he can get, AK46 was 6th in forward icetime last year as a Habs...so a top six forward, not 3rd liner...etc But, he may be very wise don't dispute that, just bit off on fallout-boy critique. But I have had a few drinks this afternoon so. mostly just be argumentative and do feel a low salary/1 year deal might be low-risk? Wont happen as dlbalr already noted, he is still unsigned, so no matter what that old coach said about his play this year, he may be toast as far as NHL is concerned?
-
Beaulieu played 20 to 25 minutes/game in mid-Feb for 5 games, was a + player and scored his only goal. And hopefully he has trained hard this summer and will be a bit stronger and confident come Oct. If injury happens he may do very well with increased workload?
