I simply think he game is 'less flashy' and more conservative than start of year (likely at request of coaches, as he took numerous stupid-lazy penalties, which needed to be corrected...without benching him and causing fan/media shitstorm again) and he is a work in progress and just am not too worried about him being there come April/May.

Actually no, he hasn't taken selfish penalties lately nor taken himself out of position charging for big hit leaving his partner hung out to dry. He hasn't looked as lost in his own end (still weak aspect of his game but he will just never be a Blake/Lidstrom) His offense has been good and team is winning, so again it is likely your lofty expectations that are causing you some grief. Relax man!

Coach-T isn't being nice to PK, or coaching him wrong? Bad coachin will get ya every time! But I think TG will be fine (if one has realistic expectations) bad coaching or not.

No one. If a GM came and offered a Stamkos for Price, Mackinnon for Subban, or maybe a Tavares for Pacioretty (given spare parts/$$/Term made sense), I would trade any of them tomorrow. But, Price would easily be my most 'untouchable' Hab also.

Is a - player? He only blocks shots by accident? His positioning is bad and leaves guys wide open in front of Price? He is main reason Habs are sucking so far? He cant score and gets 1:10 on PP every game?

On pace for 117points. I think safe bet Habs come up short of that, but 100 would likely do it for playoffs, so those early comebacks added a bit of buffer for that 3-6-1 ten game stretch, which will likely happen sooner or later. And the Mid-West trip coming up start of December, could be a nice challenge with Aves, Minni, Hawks & Stars. But that looks like first of 3 tough road trips left to play this season (with 2 of them coming in Dec)

I was a Gorges fan, assumed he would be captain, but Weaver is likely not a big drop off and then add Gilbert for basically same salary, is a plus. And am not fond of soft d-men, but Gilbert is what he is and haven't seen much real crap or excellent play from him and he has played a ton of minutes and he is a +d-man. I did think he might be a bit more offensive, but is early in season.

I don't mind 7 d-men, but think 4 full forward lines likely easier to manage for coaches and players.

PK is 11th in d-scoring, #1 icetime on #1 team, so he aint doing horrible. But I like your crystal ball prognostication.

Actually many Habfans wouldn't even notice nor care less! Majority seem to look at standings for team success/failure. I know I have never ever looked at any teams # of shutouts before? And this is the first time I even recall it being brought up, but when keep digging deep for negatives constantly, am sure you can find some more, that don't mean much but need reporting on. Keep digging Sparky and maybe, if all the shit-stars align, all the negatives you like to keep hammerin/piling on will help cause season to go off the rails and then maybe will be in your glory!
