  1. ..now 'some' are upset, not all. Coaches come and go and bout only one (vet coach) i can think of to have never been fired at least once and his career record not shabby.
  2. Eh!! All I had to do was hope for more offense and look what happens! And a PP goal to boot, get the frickin game footage to Therrien qucikly!
  3. holy crap, is one early game and maybe a different Dog team has showd up for home fans? Hope they pile it on with lots of offense for the kiddies.
  4. For those so concerned with Habs bottom six and want 3rd line traded/upgraded, don't feel too bad could be worse; Hawks 3rd line 9points, Habs 3rd line 10points.
  5. And exactly whose 3rd line should Habs emulate? Structural problem eh? Most teams players playing that role are not contributing much offensively. I know grass is greener if cold just jettison 3rd line for some other 3rd liners, but good luck arranging a big improvement (and playing Sekac may be improvement or not, but is more armchair GM knee jerk reaction). Are Eller/Bourque holding back the PP? Failing to score (when the forwards playing big minutes/$ are doing likewise and top forward is tied for 47th in scoring)? Are they terrible defensively, too slow, too small? Again you are too concerned with wrong part of lineup, look higher up food chain at top 6 forwards.
  6. Sorry, illuminate it some more? However; I agree Sekac should be playing....but in Hamilton (where I said he should of been right from the start).
  7. Why one player or another isn't in lineup, might not be as simple as most fans assume. You know; Dudley-Mellanby-LaPointe-Bergevin-Lacarriere-le Genius see these guys day in and out, in the gym, at practice all the time and likely have a bit better idea who might be best to play. And I highly doubt they play Moan instead of Sekac/Bournival if they think a youngster would make a difference. The only thing I wonder is why not send one or both to AHL and call up a Dumont (or the like) to sit in pressbox till injury, or someone craps the bed, or Sekac-Bournival light-up AHL and help fill the net there?
  8. Who started this foolish thread again? Chicken Little or Eeyore?
  9. Depending on point of view; if are a Habfan or simply a critic, what story those cherry picked stats can tell.
  10. Screw it then, sounds like might as well toss in towel and tank for McDavid! We will get em next year! Just need pick up all-star sniper or three, 2 big centres, new Mgmt/coaches, top 4 d-man and grittier bottom six. And trade Plekanec, Gilbert, Bourque, DD, Eller, Emelin. should bout do it and then all the continuing complaining may relent then?
  11. But no one is calling for any of them to be sat or seem to be even criticizing them? But it is low minutes guys who are an issue? Galchenyuk -4 at centre, ugly?
  12. Hope he has super year, but many seem a bit too excited about short term hot streak. But is much better than not putting up points and really do hope he can be an NHLer in a few years, but simply don't have good feeling he will.
  13. Beaulieu still not my favorite d-man, but played 16+minutes and not horrible (decision making still seems a bit slow) and Gilbert again played 21+ solid minutes and was even.
  14. Moan has to come out, why? He was even last night, couple shots and 3 blocks, played 4 of his 10minutes on the PK and had little to do with loss. Bourque at least showed up to play and also was even and had 5 hits in 11minutes. Eller was +1, good on faceoffs and PK once again. Team gave up 6 PPs, had 10 giveaways, out shot 36-20 and Flames blocked 26 shots and people are bitchin about bottom six guys who actually played OK. Low hanging fruit if you want to switch up low paid guys, when Subban-Gallagher-Plekanec-Galchenyuk were combined -12 and I think had bit more to do with loss than guys who played 11-12minutes. (Subban on PK is bit scary also) When best players aint so, tends to not play out well.
  15. well at least no one got injured in that whoopin
  16. 1-1 in 3rd, fluky bounce off boards, not sure who gets it (Thomas-from Hudon/Bennett)
  17. Andrighetto Hudon off to penalty box. Condon will need to be solid for next few minutes. Lefebvre saying nice things bout Crisp, saying he needs to work on consistancy, but is big, can skate, hit and dangerous when pissed off.
  18. Dogs give up one in 2nd and down 0-1 Ellis fought Crisp and Sandlak drop em, more huggin than anything.5 minute major to Crisp prior to fight for boarding
  19. Yippeee nother PP..sooner or later bound to get a lucky bounce you would think? OH well 0-3. I hope Hudon, Benett, de la Rose, Carr etc would make PP a bit better, maybe it will come (after the new year )?
  20. dirty Swede de la Rose takes 5minute boarding, but PK is bit better than other special team.
  21. Simply would be nice to see more scoring, 5 on 5 PK PP I don't care. If are 5-0 at Home after today's game, I wont really care how much we scored. Would love to see a 8-4 high flying game, simply for entertainment factor, but unlikely to be.
  22. Taking about PPs. Hamilton coaching is training em up to play similar kick-ass system as big club; - Dogs PP is now 0 for last 21 and sitting at 5.9% success for year (with a whooping 2 PP goals so far this season)!
  23. Dietz in a early fight (not by choice after clean hit) And now Dogs scary PP going to work ( 0 for last 20, 2 for 33 on year, sweet jesus it sucks!!!!) Make that 0-for last 21 now and 5.88% overall.
  24. Don't care who is on the PP, but right now, even Tinordi looks more dangerous with weak wristers from point than Markov-Subban combined! Players like Stamkos don't need to be pleaded with to shoot often and from everywhere...Max should take a cue from him. When Max is on, he does seem to get lots of shots in a game. Is Tinordi a faster skater then Markov-Weaver and Emelin?
