Trade Habs acquire Dale Weise and Christian Folin
Commandant replied to dlbalr's topic in Habs & Hockey Talk
Weise is a nice name to get back, but this really feels like a deal that means nothing either way. -
Good night for the prospects Romanov with 1 assist while playing for the National Team Ikonen with an assist Teasdale 2g McShane 1g 2a Fonstad 2g 3a Brook 2g 2a (OT game winner) Walford 1a Tyszka 1a Poehling 1a

Id also point out that OLE is not a victory chant. It translates to Go. It is no different than chanting go habs go. The nah nah song is the victory song.
-
McShane scores his 24th goal of the year. Primeau loses beanpot final 3-2 in overtime... 32 shots against.
-
Im not overly worried about it. Even assuming it has an effect..You can still only lose one player... who would be the 8th best forward on the roster... instead of losing the 9th best forward. If they take a dman or goalie, it had no effect. Meh... As long as we dont get cute with things and try trades.. thats what killed teams in the last expansion. The clubs that just gave up their own player were largely fine.

Hes won quite a few deals. the ryder trade, the petry trade, the vanek trade, the danault trade, the weise trade, the deslauriers trade, the kulak trade, Hes lost his share too... But its not like domi and tatar are the first wins for him.
-
When our complaint is that he only stopped 32/34 shots and won his 7th straight start... ill take it.
-
They have completely run the Jets out of the rink.... total domination. Best game this team has played in 5 years at least....
-
Even the PP is clicking 4 straight games with a goal for KK 4 point night for Drouin
-
THAT LINE
-
Anyone know how many points Sergachev has this year? Strange we aren't getting those updates anymore
-
That Line again
-
Drouin and gally flying again
-
Drouin danault gallagher line are dominant this period. A goal already and easily could have two more
-
Also staying in the AHL for this year means Zadina will not need to be protected in the expansion draft, whereas Kotkaniemi will need to be protected. I agree with Montreal keeping him up past the 40 game mark, but I also understand why Detroit sent Zadina back. I still like the Kotkaniemi pick, but you can't truly judge the pick until 5 years post draft. its not about drafting the player who will be in the NHL first, its about drafting the player who will have the best career.

Make that two more assists in the third period for walford. So 3 in the game.
-
Another assist for walford.

Saturday against Toronto.

The ducks are still in the playoff picture. Murray doesnt want to fire Carlyle. I think they are poised to do something desperate. They have a ton of defencemen and larsson and mahura are buried on the depth chart. They arent beating out lindholm or fowler anytime soon and will have a tough time even being the third pair with their depth. I.could see them looking to add upfront.
-
Another guy (and h'es probably not ready to make a big impact this year but might have a higher offensive upside than Larsson) is Josh Mahura. A LHD who is a rookie in the AHL right now. played with Cale Fleury last year and had 69 points in 60 games Has 14 points in 23 AHL games and 5 in 17 NHL games this year.

Good skater, strong defensively, smart passer, good but not great shot, willing to be physical He was the Ducks first rounder in 2015. The pick right after we took Juulsen. Similar player but Larsson is left handed The Ducks drafting D in the top 2 rounds has also been great in recent years, if their scouts were high on him, it gives me more confidence that he's a good one
-
Anaheim is hot garbage right now They have to do something It seems they don't want to fire Carlyle, that tells me the other option is a panic trade. I could see them being fleeced in a deal
-
4 goals in his first 44 games for KK, 5 goals in his last 9.
-
3 game goal streak for Koko
-
I said earlier. I'd love to get Jacob Larsson, a defenceman buried on Anaheim's depth chart. I think it could be similar (and perhaps even better) than adding Kulak They need forwards, perhaps they bite on a Hudon + pick for him.
