I hate it too... Like I said.... as soon as the goal goes in I say ######!, but then perspective sets in.
Games like this... regulation loss, but the boys played well... Subban looked good.... Price played well.... liked Eller and Diaz. These are fine with me.
Canes up 3-2 on Bruins
Bruins losing and helping our tank.
It doesn't get any better than that.
Even PG has to see the playoffs slipping away.
Worse would be a couple wins that convince him we might still have a chance.
its hard to go against every instinct i have which cheers for habs goals and hates goals against, but about 10-20 seconds after they go in, i get back to the big picture too.
Kaberle since joining Montreal is on pace for 53 pts... we all know his time in Carolina was a disaster, I wouldn't judge him by that two months, when he's been around a ~50 pt pace every year since lockout, including last season
4.25 million for a 45-50 pt defenceman is not a bad contract.
Why does everyone keep insisting that it is.
How much is a guy who is consistently in that range gonna cost, even if his defence isn't the greatest.
Wiz had one 50 pt season and his defence is only slightly better and got 1.25 million more.
He's producing at even strength though.... still on a 50 pt pace as a Habs dman, and a mere -2.
There is much more wrong with this team than Tomas Kaberle.
Nobody paying the price out front on the PP right now.
On Gallagher

Seems there were two incidents
The first is a big hit by Holland.
The second was crashing into the boards on a drive to the net.
Officially he has an upper body injury and is being re-evaluated.
I'd much rather take the picks and/or prospects that Gill will get me than Penner.
I don't see the point.
I don't like Penner personally, but even assuming he's a guy you want, sign him in july.
