You do make a good point that he might thrive under a new coach. J.M did give him a lot of mins and he was on the pp I don't hate this guy he does work hard and can pass and skate very well but he just doesn't fit. they tried the the him and gio combo it wasn't like the jersey days.

I say sit top 9 he is not on our team all three centers have more upside and more to offer. gomez doesn't hit nor is he a goal scorer either so cole patches moen AK cammy hell even blunden on this team has more to offer. He should be in the press box till someone needs to sit or is injured. There is nothing to show case other then he is not worth what is is being paid. I am not saying this guy can't play in the nhl but for the habs he is a waste of mins.

Like it or not DD has also made those guy's better!!! we see it and they said it. Size becomes an issue when you don't work or go to the dirty areas he does!!! He is not my fav player but give the guy credit he has been great and will get better.

Sign him even at 4.5 we would still be able to trade him if we had too. He does bring a lot to this team i just wish they would tell him to shoot more. We all see it he has the tools to be a great player but he has played well for us and lets hope he rips it up the rest of the season. If he wants more bye bye!!!!

Why even put gomez in? he brings nothing to the table that we need. on the 4th line? he doesn't hit and is he better suited there then blunden or nokes ? nope even darche is a better 4th liner then him our fourth is doing the job leave them alone. White is the only one that can take a fourth line spot of our bottom tier forwards. If someone gets hurt on our top lines then he goes in. all of our c men are doing there jobs, he goes in when someone needs to sit thats it. And show case him? We are not going to fool anyone even if he has a eller night every gm knows what he is.

Well i think he did fire J.M in order to right the ship. I see in some ways why this is tough on molson but a lot of this is has to do with the media's trying to sell papers and mags. He needs to stop listening to them and go about his bis and do what he thinks is right. Lets face it the man is not dumb and has possibly the toughest team to own and run.

I see it the other way we have a lot of upside A.K DD LL Eller Patches Subban Emelin Diaz Price. these guy's are all young or fairly young. this is not including the good players we have that are older. I see a lot of promise for this team and i see no need to blow it up and i believe we will turn it around. Ask yourself did u think this was a cup team before we played game number one of the season? i so no we were not but getting there. In my opinion we need markov and gio back bad. and add a number one center and two big hard hitting d men and we are right there with every other great team

I hope the jays get feilder but they won't he is 27 and can blast plus he would put some asses in the seats. they are giving up nothing as well and he fits the age group on the team so they can build a core group for years to come. if he batted 2nd 3rd or 4th wow. and get a number two starter or third they would make a very good run at it.

I wasn't looking at it from molson's point of few but as a hockey fan. I am sure there are a lot of french speaking people in montreal that don't give a rats ass about a french speaking coach but rather want their team to win. You could say maybe the english speaking people take offence to the it has to be a french speaking coach. It really is a stupid issue and has nothing to do with hockey or history or religion. The best person for the job!!!!!!. Would toronto fans get mad if the coach was french speaking only but was a great coach?

I though this is about winning? this team is known for winning and growing up watching roy and mats and bobby smith and chris nilan is why i love the habs not because of what language they speak.
