Too many defensive breakdowns and Price hasn't looked good in the last 3.

Anytime you blow a 2 goal lead by sitting back for the second half of the game it's not acceptable. We weren't playing a playoff team we were playing a consistant bottom 5 team that looked like they wanted no part of us in the 1st.

Watching these last 3 games it looks like last season all over again. Just a terrible effort and embaressing watching some of our guys just get tossed around like rag dolls.

Armstrong and Eller were out there on the last shift along with Plekanec to take the faceoff. No one really tried to clear any bodies out of the crease and Ott was allowed to walk all the way in almost into the net. It should've been a penalty but Budaj also needs to cover the puck there. They aren't going to sit DD he hasn't been playing great but I don't think he's bench worthy either. Plus who are you going to dress over him there really are no better options. Over. I think it's going to be a while before we see him again. He definitly dropped himself a few notches on the depth chart. When you have a private meeting with a coach and then go out and do exactly what he told you not to do, it's going to be tough to get back in. I think we would see Blunden, Weber, Kaberle in the lineup before we see White again. I recommend Anger Management classes for White.

Terrible loss.

While we complain about Armstrong and Moen they haven't put us in the situation that White has.

Honestly I wouldn't put him at no 1 but I definitly believe Subban is one of the most hated players in the league. Look how many penalties he draws from players going after him after whistles or behind the play. Also he has been known to do his fair share of cheap stuff whether it be a slew foot, faking taking off his helmet during a fight, diving, and embellishment. He also does more then his fair share of chirping on the ice. That being said I don't buy the whole he is hated by everyone in the locker room. I'm sure there are a few guys that dislike him but thats normal.

Dumb penalty by Subban and he needed to hit Galchenyuk earlier rather then dumping it deep.

lol, so the reason why people don't watch hockey is because when the game is over some players can't celebrate the way they want?

- Because they are trying to build a team concept and teach some of the younger players that it's not about the individual but the team. - Doing both starts to get to the point of being excessive celebration. - It looked kind of stupid as a last place team last year so lets win something first. - As a fan it's never fun having other teams mock your celebrations (Price getting mocked by Fleury)

I think people are just overreacting. They are trying to build a team first concept so at the end of the game they want them to celebrate as a team and salute the fans as a team. A lot of teams have been doing this the past few years and it's about time the habs finally started doing it.

I just hope that with his extra time off Subban has been practicing hitting the net. I also hope he keeps his slew foot and diving at home since refs are going to be calling it on him.

Galchenyuk is 7 for 10 in faceoffs so far. Gotta look at the positives.

MT keeps mentioning there is a line and Ryan White jumped way over that line tonight and it's going to cost us.

Yea, I just figured in general they might want to move a defenseman rather then carry 8. Also I thought they will be at 23 with Blunden call up and Subban though I'm probably wrong. And I was they will be at 23.

Very good news for Habs. Also happy that it's a 2 year deal so now we get a year and half more to look at Subban before going long term on him. Have to figure he takes Kaberle/Webers spot and one of them will be traded eventually. Though I figure Subban probably won't be in the lineup till Saturday so Bergevin has time to make a move.

Roy did not have his appendix removed until after the habs were eliminated from the playoffs. He missed game 3 for it but convinced doctors to let him continue playing. He had the surgery 4 days after the Habs were eliminated in Game 7 vs the bruins. He's still a badass though.

Yea, I figure Eller is just going to slot into Pacioretty's spot for the time being and everything else will stay the same. I think he is going to stick with Bourque-Plekanec-Gionta for a while though they seem to be developing some chemistry especially Bourque and Gionta. I'd like to see Galchenyuk though get Pacioretty's spot on the powerplay.

Yea, it sucks that we'll be without Pacioretty for a weeks and sucks for Pacioretty who has worked hard the past 2 years. I think it's safe to say now that Galchenyuk sticks out the season with the habs as we can't afford having him in juniors and getting another injury. I think Gallagher sticks out the season too I just think he brings so much energy to the team. Time to clean out those spare rooms Gionta and Gorges.

Pacioretty out 3-4 weeks with emergency appendicectomy. Well this royally sucks.

Even if he signed today I doubt he'll be in the lineup on Sunday especially considering we have 3 games in 4 nights. They will give him a few days to get his legs under him and get familiar with the system first.

Watching him the first 3 games I don't think there is much more for Galchenyuk to learn in the OHL. He's showing he has the abilities to play at the NHL level and he has that compete level that Therrien likes. I just think early on already we are seeing around the league how important depth is with all the injuries going around. Sending a kid down to juniors whose showing he can learn in the NHL will be tough.

You don't give an RFA defenseman 6 million per year to eat up only 2 years of UFA eligiblity. There are only 11 defenseman with a cap hit over 6 million per year some of which most would argue aren't worth it. The others all spent more years in NHL or were approaching UFA when they signed their contracts. I also don't think Subban is in the top 15 overall in defenseman he could hit that point but he's not there yet. I'd draw the line at the Edler contract anything more at this point isn't worth it considering the years you are paying for.
