  1. Not to mention the fight was over, the refs split them up and chara came underneath with a cheapshot.
  2. If we pulled this off for Bell and Aucoin I'd say any Dman not named Markov (including Komisarek) and young player not named Perezhogin, Kostsitsyn Calder and arnasan i don't really care about.
  3. This could explain why Komisarek has been benched. I have to say though, I really don't want them to trade him
  4. Hes a physical defensive defensemen, obviously not as big as komisarek but with more offensive upside. Whenever he plays against canada though it seems like hes overly physical, like he knows canada is a big physical club and he feels he needs to stand up to them for his team and by doing so takes alot of needless penalties, he did the same thing at last years wjc, he did score a goal however against canada in that series Many draw comparisons to a young Darius Kasparaitis, I think thats a pretty good comparison exept Emelin has more offensive upside and maybe a bit less of a killer instinct.
  5. Emelin Has 5 points in 2 games for russia, including a Player of the game award in last nights game vs Slovakia (1g 4a) He leads the tournament in scoring for a defensemen.
  6. Someone from another board said that he knew the police officer who filed the report, apparently she attacked him and he held her back and thats how the marks appeared. The reason she attacked him. He wouldn't say publically and he PMed the reason to me so i will respect his wishes and keep it private however its pretty easy to come to the conclusion on the reason. She filed for divorce in august, she showed up unexpectedly at his home. You should beable to figure out what she found. This is again just his word for it so take it for its worth. He also said it wasn't her who said he attacked her, it was her lawyer who tried to spin it that sheldon was the enemy. For me, I believe Sheldon's story.
  7. Theo has played like crap, why would he even be considered?
  8. Andrei has a nice point streak going right now, hope fully he can build on it!
  9. Ivanans has 0 hockey sense, however he is in the best physical shape out of anyone on the habs, and yes he is very fast he was the 3rd fastest bulldog at the skills competition last year.
  10. Chipchura plays in the WHL and he can't get called up. Even if he could, he's nowhere near as polished as Lapierre is right now. Hainsey will not play another game with the Habs until next season. Not only has he stunk it up so far in the AHL, but he'd cause trouble with waivers. As for Kostitsyn, he's one dimensional and Perezhogin is better than him (not to mention much more deserving) at this point in time. Not very unexpected at all. The only guys I could possibly see ahead of Lapierre in the pecking order are Ferland and Murray. But even that is debateable. Hainsey has "stuck it up" this year in the AHL? Thats why he is tied for the team lead in points? (as a defensemen) Its also my understanding that a player is auto cleared of waivers if the call up is due to injury. Im not sure if this is position based (only a forward can get called up for a forward ect) [Edited on 2005/11/15 by rydified]

  12. Molsen Man is a guy who claims to have inside information regarding the habs, he predicted that we would sign gainey significantly before we signed him. He has posted alot of predictions that have either come true or been close. Most people like me feel he is full of (slang for human excrement)
  13. That is the point on Hainsey i was trying to get across, thus far this year Hainsey has been used as a defensive defenseman when really he is more of a two way threat. With Komisarek's return he can risk more knowing that big Mike is there to back him up. There were also rumours that Hainsey is slightly jealous of Mike's success which could have sparked him into playing better hockey. We all know Hainsey's attitude is not great, alot of people have given up on him as consider him a bust. I won't come to that conclusion until he has at least part of a season in the NHL so we can see how high he can raise his game. For Komisarek, he played both friday and saturday this week which means doctors gave him the go-ahead to return full time. :/) PS If its possible to change my username I would like it to be Rydified, I forgot to use a capital R and assumed it would auto correct me [Edited on 2005/3/21 by rydified]
  14. Have you guys been actually listening to these games on the radio? You cannot tell a player by stats alone. Komisarek has been nothing short of a shining star and cornerstone on the bulldogs blue line. (when he is allowed to play) he is easily the #1 defencemen which is great news for Hainsey as his return has seemed to spark Hainsey into playing the way that we know he can. In short, Komisarek has had a rough start only i mean it in a good way, he has been laying out the hits just like he was last season. Danis stats wise are not absolutly amazing, but you have to remember he is facing a TON of shots every game. He has been playing great hockey, especially lately Willis (The radio announcer) praises Danis every game. Another thing that should be noted is that this is the longest season Danis has ever played.
