  1. And every Sens game since they don't play on the same nights.
  2. Does anyone actually have Versus?
  3. - One quick note about the NHL coaches' poll that was conducted to pick the TSN Coach of the Year. The coaches were asked only to pick one winner, no runners-up. So while it looked like winner Guy Carbonneau (11 votes) and runner-up Mike Babcock (seven votes) crushed the competition - Bruce Boudreau, Barry Trotz and Claude Julien had two votes apiece - the reality is the balloting by members of the Broadcasters' Association is likely to be much more hotly contested. When voters are asked to choose the top three, and point systems are used, it will make for a much closer race and quite possibly different results. At the end of the day, though, as impressive as it has been for Washington's Boudreau, Nashville's Trotz and Boston's Julien to get their teams into the playoffs, exceeding all expectations for a variety of reasons, the guys who do it for a living put a heavy emphasis on the two fellows who led their teams to first place in their respective conferences - Montreal in the East and Detroit in the West. 4. So I think it's pretty safe to say that Bruce Boudreau will win the Jack Adams this year. The Caps are the only team in NHL history to be in 14th after 41 games to make the playoffs. Hats off. Runner-ups: Guy Carbonneau, Mike Babcock, Barry Trotz. There is an outside chance that if we win the conference Guy could take it, though I doubt it.
  5. Yeah I would have liked to see D'Agostini for another game...
  6. Stewart in, D'Agostini out: no other lineup changes No, he wasn't. And it wasn't an elbow. Watch the replay:
  7. He was abysmal. 2-10. www.nhl.com/scores --> Faceoffs
  8. I want to see Stewart dress on Saturday night to pummel some Leafs! We need to have a threat in the lineup (Kosto doesn't count) so they don't take liberties like they did with the Sens.

  10. Keep it playing, it's mostly for the fans, not the players. I live on the right and I'm anglo!
  11. I just realized that if Pittsburgh gets 1 point or less tonight vs. Philly and we win our two remaining games, we win the goddamned Eastern Conference. Holy crap. And I'm going to the game on Saturday night. GO FLYERS!
  12. Does anyone know how much this will cost for the entirety of next season? I'm seriously considering not getting cable and just getting this
  13. KOSTIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITSYN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  14. Lol I was just looking into this actually. Here's you answer: "My full name is Jordan LaVallee Smotherman. LaVallee is my mother's maiden name. That was given to me as a middle name, and ever since I started playing hockey, my parents thought it was a better hockey name, so that just stuck." He has made sure to write his full name out all of his official documents, Jordan LaVallee Smotherman, so there will be no problem with the league later on http://www.hockeysfuture.com/articles/7918...thrashers_camp/
  15. IS HAMMER OK???? I AM NOT WATCHING THE GAME! PS wtf Markov. Not a good decision.

  17. New York Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez will earn US$28 million this season, $6.2 million more than the entire Florida Marlins roster. Wtf is wrong with this league.
  18. Haha awesome gamethread Macaskill. I won't be watching this game, I'm in University Death Valley right now. Going to the game on Saturday night, but I won't be watching anything live until the 17th. Canadiens Express, you will save my life!
  19. 1. Montreal 2. Pittsburgh 3. Carolina 4. New Jersey 5. New York 6. Philadelphia 7. Washington 8. Boston How sweet would this be? Montreal would face a Bruins team that hasn't been able to beat them all year (knock on wood), there's a great Crosby-Ovechkin matchup, nobody cares about 3-6, and at least one of the teams that we've a lot of trouble against this year gets knocked out in the Rags and Devils. Best of all, Ottawa would be out. :king:
  20. YYYYYYYYEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH GO HABS GO@!!!!!!!!!!! I'd say I'm pumped for this game
