  1. Not to promote online streams but I have used them when I'm not at home watching RDS. They work really well after you exit all the ads. Don't think I'm allowed to suggest specific sites on the forum though am I?
  2. I agree with what you're saying completely. It's definitely time for price to step up. Strong regular season and another step in the playoffs. I definitely still think Price has it in him. But I think you'd probably still agree that even if he doesn't live up I expectations NOW it doesn't mean he's done for as an elite goalie. Yes it's time for him to step up now, but maybe he'll hit his groove halfway through the season as he adjusts to waite's coaching style. Just in time for the playoffs
  3. Dd anyone else see Pacioretty absolutely undress someone after he came over the blue line? Huge scoring chance after
  4. I see either way, Hamilton or Montreal being fine for his developement anyway. He won't be asked to carry the team with montreal. I trust Therrien's abilities with the young guys very strongly. Tinordi seems to have a strong head on his shoulders anyway. Looking forward to seeing him up.
  5. Galchenyuk played Center last night didn't he? Other than the goal which was simply good positioning, how did he do there? I only saw highlights
  6. Also just realized that Hudon strongly reminds me of Plekanec. Known for a great two way game, highly skilled at the same time, smooth skater and about the same size
  7. This is probably just a weird transitional time for Montreal. Briere Gio and Desharnais could easily be all gone in 2 years, replace them with 6 ft people and suddenly all this size shit isn't gonna be a topic. Unless adrighetto reway and Thomas turn into the best we got.. But Mccarron and de la rose making it by then would be unreal
  8. Are preseason games on RDS? Or broadcasted on any station for that matter ?
  9. Tinordi solidifies a permanent spot on the team, and Eller puts up a 20 goal season nearly cracking 60 points
  10. Montreal finished 4th in the league last year with price having a mediocre year. If goalies are always the X-factor what would they have done with him having a stellar year? I think the bottom line is that there isn't one "X-factor", what made the Habs a dominant team last year was, well, the "team." They really bought in last year. I guess the x-factor is playing the no excuses, everyone is held accountable type of game that they all hopped on board for last year. Because the Habs ALL did it last year.
  11. How long do you guys think morrow will go before anyone signs him? If it got close to the deadline ( even say January) maybe by that time trading desharnais wouldn't look bad on Bergevin. Then we could sign morrow almost like a pre playoff rental player. I actually don't dislike desharnais, he's just a TERRIBLE fit for the team. Over abundance of centres AND undersized top six. Morrow would bring size and clear room at Center. By to mention he performed pretty good in the playoffs last year.
  12. Me too. What kind of pick could we get for him? I mean its not like he doesn't have value.
  13. Crisp, after (to be blunt) what seemed to be the disappointed of the draft, scored a hatrick at today's scrimmage. What is this. Now he's going to main camp. Might have had a big stroke of luck but that's impressive. Hope he impresses again at main camp
  14. Why no talk of Max pac? Amazing work ethic, role model, decent with media, and still young. Pretty good qualifications
  15. Lets hope not vanek or Hartnell in a couple years time. They'll be gettin on the older side
  16. Maybe later in the year switch up this line to Bourque - Galchenyuk - Briere ? Unless they were completely clicking of course. Just thinkin of chucky's development at center.
  17. I'm liking all these combos. But deep down we all know Desharnais will get top six and Pacioretty at his side. Lost opportunity of you ask me. Lets hope if he's there and not scoring the staff will give Eller a chance. I honestly believe Eller is one of Montreals best, even though I know a lot of people don't see it.
  18. I actually laughed out loud at the Darren pang part
  19. I do remember one game galchenyuk shying away from a hit. It was the only time I've seen it from him and I hope he is more confident than that going forward
  20. I understand this feeling, it's why I said "this is probably said about every generation of prospects" I remember Higgins komisarek chiphura d'agostini and Plekanec coming up through and feeling similarly, but this time I can't help but feel like it's different. I feel like we not only have stronger prospects, we have more depth in our system. Not only that, this time around, I feel like we might have the proper staff in place to help these players mature the right way. Cautious optimism this time though!
  21. I suppose what I'm about to say is said with every "generation" I'll say of prospects, before they end up as busts, but does anyone else feel a real sense of optimism about the habs prospects right now? There's just so much depth in the system, especially after the las two drafts. And on top of that a lot of raw talent. Beaulieu Tinordi Hudon Collberg Dietz McCarron De La Rose Lehkonen Fucale Bozon Nygren Bournival Pateryn Thomas, hell even undrafted signings like Fornier. Wow, what a reserve, and I'm sure I missed a boat load. I can't look at that group and not see a big portion making it to the show, Tinordi and Beaulieu are basically there. Just imagining the team around 2016 or 2017 Might be a bit of fun to speculate the lineup by that time if anyone's bored hahah
  22. Love hearing this . Bergevin seems to have a way with a lot of players. Where'd you hear it? Briere also said he was super impressed by Bergevin/Therrien
  23. What boggles me is it isn't just that say, one gm had some love for Mayer. They all continuously seem to have this profound hope for him coming from no where. Must have some blackmail on molson. Hahah
