  1. Wow, flabbergasted at the extent of covering up.
  2. Agreed with first statement. ”Hope” is correct for second, although last season and this preseason leads me to believe it is actually rather hopeless. I’d be fine with the entertainment value of that game tho, can’t really recall last time I saw a Habs W. GHG!
  3. Wise words on both counts now that you mention that about the current injuries.
  4. Saw on Sportsnet page that it was 2-2 but they hadn’t listed scorer. jays season over 10-9 blew a 8-1 lead
  5. I see the logic in that thought. He has been a nice find, just so many NHL proven forwards, would think they’d be able to score lol.
  6. Regarding Pitlick, I’ve liked some and disliked some of his pre season. I see him as odd man out, anyone think there is room for him on Habs?
  7. Noticed Pitlick got interference call. also see sens pp goal 1-1
  8. Skimmed the penalty summary so far, looks like this has gotten greasy. Lots of misconducts and stick penalties it says.
  9. indeed, collisions / injuries ugh they are following the leafs playoff trend tho.
  10. Was figuring so, more so hoping it wasn’t injury related. pretty sure you’re correct
  11. It’s like I was there, great description and sounds familiar.
  12. Was the goaltending switch just to share the game?
  13. Yeah, I believe he is season-ready. Obv a young guy and can handle the games but hate to see him be a casualty of a clutch and grab, hack and whack type game. I have always been impressed in his ability to make plays yet still protect himself so not sweating it. He’s looked good imo, hope he Carrie’s it into season, his shot is top notch obv.
  14. that blows. Im visiting family in NB and can’t get the game on tv… Usually get every game out here so this is weird, same for last one as well. Hoping for some updates, opinions here tonight. Between jays game and free centre ice package preview (watching Dallas at Minny) I am entertained before the feast weekend gets deep. Would like to be watching Habs tho.
  15. Was wondering that as well, he’s played a lot this pre season it seems. Nice for local fans to see him play though. Just hate to see him injured in a meaningless game. Better get that one win today tho.
  16. Definitely agree, and am actually a little optimistic as after looking into him more It appears he has been consistent (not prolific) at all levels. Given our RHD depth this pickup is really impressing me as being smart gamble with potentially high returns.
  17. Sens icing a weaker lineup tonight, but plenty of plugs and goon-ish types. Could get greasy.
  18. Without knowing anything besides what I’ve read today, looks like a decent wire pickup.
  19. If it were up to me today (and day to day injuries are good to go) Drouin-Suzuki-Caufield Dadonov-Dvorak-Gallagher Dach-Monohan-Anderson Hoffman-Evans-Armia Matheson-Bowey Guhle-Savard Xhejak-Wideman With Eddy: Edmundson-Savard Matheson-Bowey Guhle-Wideman Allen Monty PP1: CC-Suzi-Hoff Wideman-Drouin PP2: Andy (Gally) -Mono-Dach Mattheson-Guhle
  20. Finally had a chance to follow up on this and read recent posts. Rather than quote a bunch just to say I agree, thought I’d make a blanket statement. So many good points and ideas suggested, thanks for the thoughts on this. This will become a business case of how not to handle a scandal. They’ve (Hockey Canada) really done themselves no favours in the handling of this.
  21. Yes, I agree and hope management does as well. I also believe Primeau is never going to become a solid starter so goaltending pipeline is a high priority. As in a combo of developing current prospects, but also scouting at all levels for any opportunity. Bu time Allen’s contract is up (assuming he isn’t traded) the team could be pushing for playoffs if they have a legit starter.
