  1. I hope Laraque creams that punk. Totally uncalled for in my opinion. Hopefully Andrei's okay and it's nothing serious.
  2. Yupp. He scored on Carey last year, but so far stoned tonight.
  3. It's weird though, they have the channel set up for the Habs game...but it won't stream. Oh well, at least I've still got the radio.
  4. Another fast start. Excellent! :ghg: :ghg: :ghg:
  5. Yeah, Gui's speed has improved and I'm quite happy with it, but there's some other intangibles as well that I mentioned. I think we would still do very well with Higgins-Koivu-Tanguay and Latendresse-Lang-Kostitsyn, but in my opinion slotting Higgins onto the third is a more optimal lineup. I could be wrong, but weren't Zubrus and Zholtok (or at least one of them) part of the trade package that gave us Zednik? As much as I love Gaborik, I don't want him on our team unless he's as a cheap rental. He's going to want too much money for a longterm contract and his history of injuries is worrisome. That, and like you mentioned, having a high-paid superstar is not the formula for success in the "new NHL." If we can get him near the deadline for a reasonable deal though, I'd be tempted. But considering how much depth we have on the wings both now and in the near future, I'm not sure if we'd really need him for anything more than a Cup run.
  6. Yupp! Go to the hockey section and there's a list of games they're streaming. :ghg:
  7. I bring the lulz mahn, I bring the lulz.
  8. Assuming that's directed to my comment, I don't think it would be in the best interest of the team to pair them together. They're easily among the slowest forwards on the team, so it would make sense to pair them up with faster skaters to detract from that deficiency in their game. Also, I think Lats has softer hands around the net than Higgins does and fits Koivu and Tanguay a little better. I also think it's important to let Higgins prove to everyone that he can produce while not being in Koivu's shadow, a feat he hasn't quite accomplished yet.
  9. Oh that's what you meant. I wasn't sure if you meant his style of play, which I absolutely adore: not the biggest guy, but feisty and doesn't back to anyone, great vision and a nice shot.
  10. Excellent news. I was hoping before training camp even began that the lines would be similar to this. Making sure Lang and Lats are on separate lines is a good decision as far as I'm concerned.
  11. I got goalie...does that mean I'm a catcher and not a pitcher? =P
  12. I believe I read somewhere that the dollar coins will be put into circulation sometime around March.
  13. Oh don't worry. I deleted that MSN account months ago anyways. And really? I'm curious as to just what he might have done, but at the same time I'm not so sure I want to know.
  14. Not the greatest game, but hopefully it will be a lesson to be learned. And we got the two points, which is the important thing. Bring on Phoenix and Wayne Gretzky.
