I wouldnt care if a player liked knitting to relax between games... its a discussion board and if it affects you so much why dictate on it? just dont read it... are you scared you find out you idolized a Gay player all your life? perhaps the social discussion that was coming out here was too much for some of you! For one part, we don't want HW to turn into a hockey version of Perez Hilton where people are on a mission of "outing" just about anyone... even if it's just rumors. Its pernicious and perverse, because unless you know the player personnaly, or someone from his immediate circle; you're really just speculating. The Richer stuff was a good example. And since no hockey player has officialy come out of the closet, than the only reliable conclusion we can make is that actually no player in the NHL is gay; or at least wants it to be made public. Speculating about it without any real fact to back it up is just typical National-Inquirer-bored-housewives-gossipy crappola we can all live without.
