I hope not. Aebischer's a good goalie but he's been much less consistent than Huet so far. Plus, if Huet's injured long-term then we dn't really have anyone to backup Aebischer.

What happened to Huet?

There was a moment when Huet tripped randomlyand took a while to get up. Since then he'slooked a bit awkward.

Habs need to set a very fast pace to start this period, to take advantage of the fact that the Sabres played last night. At the very least, it should result in some power plays as tired Sabres start grabbing and hooking.

Habs need to set a very fast pace to start this period, to take advantage of the fact that the Sabres played last night. At the very least, it should result in some power plays as tired Sabres start grabbing and hooking.

what about danis? he's got nhl experience... halak may be given a shot at it...

A goal usually takes the steam right out of comebacks like this. If the Habs score the next goal, that should do it.

True, but i would pick Danis over Halak cuzz we can't leave the Dogs hanging down in Hamilton.

Danis, I'm pretty sure has to clear waivers. And there's no guarantee either of them are ready as Halak barely has any AHL experience even and Danis is struggling to take the starters job in the minors.

as a backup for aebischer, danis wouldn't get much work, really... unless aebischer went down too
