There was a 25 game or so stretch where he'd take those penalties, then do nothing to make amends... ...that being said, racking up some huge numbers now and getting the Habs into the playoffs will make up for that. Yeah, he now has six points in his last three games and nine in his last seven. He also had a nice stretch in February where he put up 14 points in nine games.
