Commandant
1-1 Fortier with the Dogs goal.
dlbalr
Avtsin is back in the lineup, glad to see someone's back after they lost Leblanc and Palushaj to callups.
dlbalr
Willsie scores to make it 2-1...and now Engqvist makes it 3-1! Both PPG's (and Fortier's was as well).
dlbalr
FitzGerald tries to spear Exelby, gets tossed and now needs Henry and a linesman to hold him back from chasing down the ref. Here's hoping the Habs pick up an extra AHL D or two in their deadline dealings (either NHL or AHL-based) so they can just get rid of him already. dlbalr
In the 4-on-4 stemming from the above (FitzGerald got 5, Exelby 2), Schultz scores to make it 4-1! That's his first goal in 15 games.
dlbalr
Lefebvre scores to make it 5-1! That's his first point 9, first goal in 11.

dlbalr
Games against Toronto aside, their attendance has been worse than last year even with his presence meaning something stupid will probably happen.
Commandant
No one cares about Fitzgerald. The only player marketable in Hamilton is Louis Leblanc, thats it.
dlbalr
Henry jumps out of the box and gets a breakaway. He didn't score but that still may very well be his offensive highlight of the last 3 months.
dlbalr
Janik (shorthanded) beats Lawson up high to make it 5-2. They have the same (terrible) goal song as the Bulldogs.
dlbalr
Game over, Bulldogs take it 5-2 and move into 3rd place in the North Division. They'll face off again tomorrow. http://theahl.com/stats/game-summary.php?game_id=1009309

Generally speaking you won't generally market prospects from Hamilton unless you were a buyer. Our record should suggest to you strongly that we should be a seller. Our record should suggest to you strongly that we should be a seller. I was talking about fans buying tickets; and butts in the seats. The only prospect who might be able to put a few butts in the seats of copps coliseum (and even then its limited) is louis leblanc. Fitzgerald might be "old time hockey"; but he's not a fan favorite type guy like Dennis Bonvie was back in the day.

I see too many posters wanting assets they have almost zero chance of getting and thought thats were you were going with your comment. I believe Louis is in Montreal today, so good luck with butts at Copps.
Commandant
Yeah, they will have to sell based on the team; rather than on an individual.
