dlbalr
The road trip kicks off with a doozy (I know the Toronto game was on the road but going to Toronto isn't a true trip) as the Bulldogs take on the IceCaps who sit 2nd in the AHL in the first of a back-to-back. Active scoring leaders: Goals: Andreas Engqvist (18) Assists: Frederic St-Denis (23) Points: Andreas Engqvist (34) +/-: Alex Henry/Robert Slaney (+2) PIMS: Zack FitzGerald (212) Active scoring leaders: Goals: Jason Jaffray/Jason King (17) Assists: Spencer Machacek (31) Points: Spencer Machacek (45) +/-: Arturs Kulda (+19) PIMS: Garth Murray (96) Puck drop is at 7:30 PM NDT (which I think is 6:00 PM EST) and can be listened to by clicking this link: http://cham.player.amri.ca/
dlbalr
Early stat as play is underway: Hamilton's dressed defencemen have combined for a whopping 8 goals this season. (St-Denis 3, FitzGerald 2, Mitera 2, Henry 1, Stejskal/Dame-Malka 0). By comparison, the IceCaps' top offensive d-man has 13 on his own. dlbalr
and hasn't fitz at times been a forward as well? Yep and he really should stay there too as he's brutal defensively. 1-1 in the 3rd.
dlbalr
Slaney scores! His 1st career AHL goal in his 3rd season.

dlbalr
By the way, the ugly, ugly lines based on what I've heard/the gamesheet: Willsie-Engqvist-Nattinen Slaney-Dumont-Schultz DeSimone-Haddad-Berger Lefebvre-Lampe-Avtsin St-Denis-Mitera Henry-FitzGerald Stejskal-Dame-Malka
dlbalr
Haddad scores to make it 3-1! What gives, 2 guys getting their first ever goals as a Bulldog tonight... Berger gets a point too, his first in what seems like forever ('only' 9 games).
dlbalr
Engqvist scores from his own blueline into the empty net to give Hamilton a 4-1 lead. Nice little offensive explosion here.
dlbalr
FitzGerald takes a penalty just after the goal, St. John's scores a PPG with 4 seconds left to make it 4-2 which is the final. http://theahl.com/stats/game-summary.php?game_id=1009559
Machine of Loving Grace
Why is Slanley on the second and Avtsin on the fourth?
Commandant
Why is Slanley on the second and Avtsin on the fourth? Cause Avtsin sucks so much.... so very much. B-U-S-T Watched 3 bulldogs games live lately every time he was a lazy POS
dlbalr
It's sad but right now, Slaney has been better than Avtsin. Honestly, I don't think I heard that 4th line get a shift the entire 3rd period.
Commandant
Avtsin would be a healthy scratch if they were allowed to do it (cant because there is no extra clear day guys to replace him) Clear day guys must play above any replacements
