dlbalr
Hamilton (2-1-0) looks to get back on the winning track as they travel to Rochester (3-2-0) to take on the Amerks. Expect some changes to the Bulldogs' lineup as Louis Leblanc is all but confirmed as out while Morgan Ellis is now apparently game ready. So, I'm guessing the lines will be as follows: Quailer-Geoffrion-Gallagher Palushaj-Bournival-Holland Nattinen-Boyce-Blunden Hagel-Dumont-Stortini Tinordi-Pateryn Beaulieu-St. Denis Ellis-Nash The starting goalie is TBD (please be Delmas, please be Delmas...) Rochester's projected lines: Adam-Hodgson-Mancari Girgensons-Porter-Flynn Foligno-Varone-Rankin Tarnasky-Schofield-Roy Finley-MacKenzie McNabb-Pysyk Brennan-Biega Leggio Puck drop is at 7:35 and as always, Funny820 will have the play-by-play. dlbalr
Ellis is in for Nash meaning that 5 rookies are in the lineup on defence. Nattinen is in on the 3rd line. 1-0 Amerks, Finley from Schofield.

dlbalr
He's not dressed. Last week (the Friday game) they were saying 2 more weeks. 1-0 Rochester after 1.
miklin
oh Lord-Chris Ciamaga is one of the Zebras. I was hoping the NHL would just lay him off
dlbalr
Bournival scores! His 1st in the pros. 1-1. Assist to Holland. And now Rochester restores the lead, Hodgson scores to make it 2-1.
dlbalr
2-1 after 2. Hamilton will have nearly a full powerplay (1:49) to start the 3rd.
dlbalr
Hamilton missed a 3-on-1 shorthanded, took another penalty shortly thereafter, and Rochester made them pay. 3-1, less than 4 minutes to go. TJ Brennan had the goal.

Machine of Loving Grace
How was the team? I'm hearing the defence is just too young right now.
dlbalr
From listening to the game, it seemed pretty close for the most part. Things appeared to be a lot better in their own end and both Derek and Al had good things to say about Ellis on several occasions. Offensively is where they're really struggling as Geoffrion and Palushaj were shut down yesterday and the rookies aren't yet ready to step up consistently. DON
Yes burying their chances must be bigger issue as they outshot that team and gave up only 3 goals with 1 or 2 on PP. Gallagher has 12 shots but zip so far and u know that will change, but losing LL for a month or 2 is a killer, i had him as going to have a big year. So giving up only 3 goals with 5 rookie d-men and back up goalie, is almost a good sign as they likely will improve as year goes on (but still will be inconsistant as most young teams are)
