dlbalr
Hamilton (22-22-0-4) will look to extend their winning streak to 3 tonight as they host Texas (29-15-2-4) in their first game after the All-Star break. If anyone's wondering about the playoff situation, the Bulldogs are 11th, 6 points out of a tie for 8th (and Rochester has a game in hand). They've got some work to do. DON
Texas has had just a bit more offense than Hamilton has, but hope on another streak. And Beaulieu will likely have another good game I would guess.
dlbalr
Hamilton strikes first as Tarnasky stole the puck in the neutral zone, took a shot, bounced off Nilstorp and slowly went in. One lineup change for the Bulldogs, Fournier's in for Czarnik.
DON
Nice to hear Tinordi tossing weight around. Pateryn dropping the gloves? Habs mgmt will like hearing that, not his style but cant hurt. Not good for LL to have even Tarnasky pulling ahead of him in goals. well speak of the devil, LL makes it 2-0, nice to see he is still alive and even Holland gets a point, nice
Commandant
Louis Leblanc scores. 2-0.
Commandant
Morin scores on a 5 on 3, just 13 seconds into the 2nd. Beaulieu and Leblanc were in the box... undisciplined penalties for both.
DON
Morin scores on a 5 on 3, just 13 seconds into the 2nd. Beaulieu and Leblanc were in the box... undisciplined penalties for both. Those penalties tend to bite u in ass often, but especially vs this team they will make em pay. Don't think 2 goals will win this one. And she is tied 2-2 1/2 way through 2nd. Texas 2 for 3 on the PP, got to stay out of box.

DON
Well, Tokarski got them a point. Leblanc showed up to play. Home ice disadvantage seemed to kick in again? Maybe Texas just is a much stronger team, outshot 47-27?
miklin
Tokarski was really upset at the end of the game. Team mates had to restrain him from going after one of the referees. Late in the game a Dogs goal was disallowed by a quick whistle. (The usual waved call off as the referee was in the process of blowing the whistle) In OT, Dustin had the puck, was bumped and Texas scored. Dustin stayed on the ice applauding the referee until he exited via the Zamboni tunnel. One total rookie ref tonight and one with a part season under his belt. Missed offsides too as a couple of our regular linesmen like Jesse Wilmot are in Sochi. Dogs powerplay was non existant thought. Had almost a full two man for two minutes and couldn't do anything. Sorry to say Thomas still looks too small to be of any significance. Don-Texas definitely much stronger-the guys that scored tonight had 27, 17 and 22 goals I believe. Our top scorer has 12. What I find frustrating with the officiating is that the obstruction that was so closely called a few years ago is pretty well ignored. I watch Holland get cleaned out by a cross check in front of the net nowhere near the puck then seconds later our D gets an interference penalty for pinning a player against the boards
