The IceCaps (6-2-2) will look to end the week and the month on a winning note as they travel to Hershey to take on the Bears (3-3-1), affiliate of Washington. There were five lineup changes last night for St. John's and even though they won, I expect some changes will be made again today; the lines are my guesses as to who comes back in.

3:51 Dietz (2nd) rips one from the point through screen and 1-0 from Barberio-Eishensmid (1st pro point)

(Barberio is now the leading AHL d-man in scoring)

5 on 3 for 31 seconds, can they score?

(They said Thrower tossed a big open-ice hit last game, like he was known to do in the WHL, Thrower said he thought he was going to be tackled by opposing players for the hit, but wasn't)

McCarron gets his 10th minor for interference, leading AHL rookies in penalties.

Not sure if your trying to point out a flaw or not but so far in his rookie season he's showed that he's

-chippy
- willing to drop the gloves
- can kill penalties can play the PP
- dominate the boards
- our best face off guy
-score big goals
- play against the opposing teams best line
- produce offensively.

Exactly what more are you asking for? Ahh yes less penalties

2-1 IceCaps after 2

( PBP guys pointed out the penalty stat about McCarron, just an interesting fact he is leading rookies in...something.)

Subban also took way too many penalties until 2 yrs ago he really (matured and) cut that # down and this year Subban is on pace for 49PIMs. So yes, it is a negative for McCarron to get suckered into weak retaliating minors and latest one was unnecessary roughing up goalie.

Is quite a conclusion; you sure it wasn't lack of secondary scoring, too many dumb turnovers and poor defense giving up 25 shots over last two periods?

Hudon did have 6 shots & numerous scoring chances; but he did bury one.
