dlbalr
It's hard to call mid-February games must wins but if the IceCaps (23-19-7-3) want to realistically get back into the playoff push, they need to win their next two games against the worst team in the conference, the Binghamton Senators (18-28-3-0). Scherbak - McCarron - Holloway McNally - MacMillan - Friberg Scott - Bozon - Rankin Bakker - Miceli - Ranger Bartley - Ellis Hanley - Lernout Didier - Dietz Pasquale (Based on previous +/- data.) Schneider - O'Dell - Bailey Robinson - Paul - Rupert McCormick - Flanagan - Hobbs Stortini - Ewanyk Fraser - Kostka Claesson - Sdao Lepine - Carlisle Harpur O'Connor Puck drop is at 7:05 PM EST for both games, AM 930 has the call. dlbalr
One lineup change from last game, Rankin makes his St. John's debut while Didier sits. Scott has been promoted to the 3rd line while Tim Bozon drops to the 4th. Brandon McNally is still on the 2nd. Yep, Bozon's the next to enter Lefebvre's dog house... Edit: A late change once again, Didier's in while Miceli sits.
Commandant
Did Bozon ever leave Lefebvres doghouse?
dlbalr
Did Bozon ever leave Lefebvres doghouse? True. He hasn't had many chances overall this year. 2-1 Binghamton in the 2nd, they scored just as I turned it on. McNally has the lone for the IceCaps. Hudon is hurt as well. dlbalr
Hudon (ankle) came back for a few shifts in the 3rd but didn't play much if at all down the stretch. Unfortunately, there was no scoring in the 3rd and the IceCaps lose 2-1. This one stings, they needed two wins here. They'll have to settle for no better than one now. http://theahl.com/stats/game-summary.php?game_id=1015437
DON
Nice set-up by McCarron on the one goal anyways.
dlbalr
The bad news? It's already 2-0 Binghamton. The worse news? No Hudon, meaning that the lines are laughably weak.
dlbalr
And now 3-0. Oh boy.
dlbalr
Ellis gets the good guys on the board. Still a long way to go though, 3-1 in the back half of the third.
dlbalr
There's the empty netter and that's going to do it. The arena plays the Olé song to rub it in a tad further. http://theahl.com/stats/game-summary.php?game_id=1015447
DON
Nice to see Scherbak have 6shots, Ellis 4shots 1g. MM & DD both drop the gloves again. IceCaps had 19 of their 28 shots in 3rd period but no comeback.
