DON
Morin was big draft pick for Philly, wonder how his defense is? Will his big feet be quick enough for NHL play? Robert Hagg was one, at the time I thought Habs should of picked in 2013 and he seems to be not quite panning out eh?
DON
A smooth 4-1 loss, Bozon (3) gets only goal. They will bounce back tomorrow!
dlbalr
Hudon got hurt in the 1st. McNally had a likely goal taken away when their goalie knocked over the net (when McNally had an open net to shoot at).
DON
Hopefully nothing serious that will hurt Hudons' off-season.
dlbalr
No Hudon, Miceli's in for him. Joyaux is a scratch; Scott moves back to D to take his spot while Alex Ranger takes Scott's spot on the fourth line. And in goal, it's the Scrivster. dlbalr
The Phantoms open up the scoring just past the midway mark of the first period. And minutes later, they make it 2-0. Tim Brent scored (in front of family and friends - they're into the 'B' material already in the PBP booth...)
dlbalr
3 goals now on 6 shots and we're still in the 1st.
KoRP
Someone needs to show Scrivenator where his net is...
dlbalr
Now 4-0 in the 3rd as the Phantoms added a shorthanded goal.
dlbalr
4-0 is the final. Scrivens took an interference penalty late in the game. There's something you don't see every day. http://theahl.com/stats/game-summary.php?game_id=1015715
DON
Opposing goalie was 1st star, Ellis had 6 and Holloway had 4 shots, but that is about all the positives. They only had 5 d-men playing (I assume Scott filled in as the 6th?). Sucks that the junior prospects arnt getting any chance to play AHL playoffs and get some pro experience. dlbalr
Yes, Scott was the 6th D yesterday. He wasn't just taking a shift here and there, it was a regular shift on the back end.
