~moeman
Great opp. for da Habs to send the yotes home with their tail between their legs and to shut the yap of their egotistical caoch and overrated goalie.

HappyHab
I am a little suprised by the good performance of the dogs. At this point I give full credit to Gretzky. At first I thought that GRetzky had made a mistake by becoming a coach but he is proving me wrong. It's still early to make a conclusion. Habs will win 3-

PMAC
C'mon guys lighten up. I think we all got a liitttle spoiled when they won all those games to start the season. Every young team goes through difficult periods. The team will be fine. That said it would be a good time for Theo to steal a game for us
lazy26
I'd like to see some better coaching tonight. Time for Zhogs' first hat-trick. GO HABS GO!
hankhab
My prediction....4-1 coyotes...Julien again plays dags-ribs-ryder all night, and they combine for -3 and no goals..Zoig gets 3 minutes, scores on a beautiful breakaway, and then is benched for the rest of the game...Bulis misses 3 open nets, Souray and Komisarik combine for 20 minutes in minor penalties. Theo gets pouty after letting in 2 or 3 softies....sorry guys, but its getting ugly, and there's no way the habs are winning this one. mathieug
Icetime for little Zhogs? "On a besoin de savoir qu'à chaque match, on va obtenir le même rendement de sa part. Il y a des matchs où on lui a donné cette occasion-là et il n'a pas répondu. Il a donc eu moins de glace. Il faut montrer l'exemple pour que les gars réalisent que le temps d'utilisation va à ceux qui le méritent. Quand il démontre qu'il veut travailler fort, c'est important pour moi de lui donner du temps de glace." - Claude Julien here's hoping he gets 20' and a strong game. :hlogo: :ghg: :hlogo:
simonus
from tsn.ca "Captain Saku Koivu attempted to skate this morning before the team went on the ice. However, due to the stomach flu, Koivu could not stay on the ice for long and therefore will not be in the lineup tonight against Phoenix. Also, defenceman Mark Streit will be out of the Montreal lineup. He also has the stomach flu. " I guess good news and bad news? cote back up? MexicanChannel
Hopefully we'll be able to turn around and start winning. How about winning a couple before Saku and Kovy get back? The Sabres are ahead of us, and I don't want to go back to Buffalo for Christmas break on Saturday with those standings. Go Habs Go!
Leafs Suck
My favourite part about this game is that they're aren't any ex-Habs on the Phoenix Winnipeg Jets. That way, if Phoenix wins, there won't be a thread on saying "We should have kept so and so"...
simonus
"we should have traded for so and so when we had the chance"? [Edited on 12/13/2005 by simonus]

Spider-Man NL
http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/news_story/?ID=146821&hubname= (Sports Network) - The Phoenix Coyotes will try to extend their season-high win streak to four games tonight when they visit the Montreal Canadiens at the Bell Centre. Catch the action live on TSN at 7:30pm et/4:30pm pt. The Canadiens will be without the services of captain Saku Koivu. Koivu showed up at this morning's skate but was sent home by coach Claude Julien because he was suffering from stomach flu. The Coyotes' latest victory came in Boston on Sunday. Ladislav Nagy netted the game-winning goal 30 seconds into overtime to lift Phoenix past the Bruins, 2-1, at TD Banknorth Garden. Mike Johnson also scored and Nagy added an assist for the Coyotes, who also won for the fifth time in their last six games. Johnson extended his point scoring streak to six games. He has five goals and four assists in the string. Petr Nedved had an assist and Curtis Joseph made 18 saves in the win. Tonight marks the completion of a brief two-game road trip for the Coyotes, who are 7-7-1 as the visitors this season. The Canadiens, meanwhile, are in the midst of a slump. Montreal has dropped five of its last six games, including a 5-3 home loss to the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim on Saturday. Petr Sykora tallied a goal and an assist and Jean- Sebastien Giguere made 21 saves to lead the Ducks. Alexander Perezhogin had a goal and an assist and both Richard Zednik and Michael Ryder had goals for Montreal. Jose Theodore stopped 32 shots for the Canadiens. The Habs wrap up a four-game homestand this evening. Montreal is 9-5-2 at home this season. The Canadiens are unbeaten in the last seven meetings (4 wins, 3 ties) against the Coyotes. <img src=http://images.tsn.ca/images/stories/20050921/gretzky_2797.jpg>
JMMR
Cote will not be called back up I don’t believe, the habs have 6 defenseman. Souray, K rex, Markov, Rivet, The Cube and Dandy. So if anything the Habs will call up Kostitsyn or another foward may be Lemieux.
