The four on-ice officials can converse to get the correct call on where the puck left the playing surface. Referees will continue to use discretion under Rule 51(B) where a player anywhere on the ice deliberately bats the puck with his hand or stick outside the playing area. ------------ The rule was changed for the rest of the season. And was that Koivu swearing? "What a ######ing goal!" to Higgins. A few good motivating lines by Kovy and Souray (Souray uses the nicknames Kovy and Ribs by the way), a cheesy line by Carbo, a big hit by Begin, an awkward "Let's go boys!" by Bulis, Ryder arguing with a penalty call: "Are you ######ing kidding me!?", etc, etc, etc...
