Trizzak
Why not hear everyone's guesses on what these Habs will be offered? It's too early for lineup suggestions, but we need something to give our expert amateur analysis on... RFA contracts it is! (and Bouillon) I would write down what their qualifying offers are, but I don't know them. If anyone does, let me know. Trizzak
Don't sign Dags. Just dump him already. If the Habs are to keep the Bulldogs to themselves, more players would need to be signed. There isn't enough scoring on the Bulldogs, especially with Kostitsyn nearly gauranteed a spot on the Habs... why not Dags?

There isn't enough scoring on the Bulldogs, especially with Kostitsyn nearly gauranteed a spot on the Habs... why not Dags? Because it's Dags... He'd be a terrible influence on the younger guys... unless you wanted to show them how not to play. hehe. Meh, I just don't like the guy as a player that much, so maybe it's not a terrible idea, but I'd still rather find someone else to put there. Tony
Well, if Habs are going to ice the Bulldogs, first thing they need is to sign prospects and then fill the gaps in the UFA by signing some veterans who can lead the way for the young ones. Dags doesn't have those qualities.
kaos
I'm sure the Habs have enough prospects to ice a full roster, and if not then they'd probably only have to sign a few career minor leaguers or undrafted free agents to make up the rest of the squad Who is there? Corey Urquhart Maxim Lapierre Corey Locke Jonathan Ferland Francis Lemieux Duncan Milroy Peter Vandermeer Raitis Ivanans Kyle Chipchura Jimmy Bonneau Michael Lambert Mikhail Grabovski (rumoured to be close to signing and coming over) Andrew Archer Andre Benoit JP Cote JOnathan Aitken Jeff Paul James Sanford Alex Dulac Lemelin Jaroslav Halak Oliver Michaud Loic Lacasse Christopher Heino Lindberg So theres 20 + guys. Maybe some of the have or will be cut loose, and I am sure I am forgetting some guys, but thats a good start. Shouldn't have a problem icing a team
smon
And the final results: The Canadiens did extend offers to goalie David Aebischer, Christopher Higgins, Mike Komisarek, Mike Ribeiro, Alexander Perezhogin and Michael Ryder, as well as minor-leaguers Andrew Archer, Jean-Philippe Cote, Yann Danis, Jonathan Ferland and Duncan Milroy. They were offered raises ranging from 0-to-10 per cent. Cut Loose: Olivier Michaud, Peter Vandermeer, Raitis Ivanans, and Pierre Dagenais.
