Tony
Well this certainly is good news for Edmonton after the whole Pronger fiasco and free agents possibly leaving town. http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/news_story/?ID=170193&hubname= If anyone knows the numbers please post them. I'm curious.
InsaneHABSfan
I am not surprised that Edmonton was going to make a decent offer now that big ticket Pronger is on the trade block. Edited July 1, 2006 by InsaneAVSfan

Guess the Farm teams forwards are going to play for the big team next year. Is everybody surprised so many signings this fast? I am. Komisarek the Cruncher
Ignore money but that's a HUGE signing for the Leafs. How can you ignore money in a cap system, it's critical to pay guys the right price otherwise you get a bunch of AHLers playing on your team,,,that's not smart management. The Laffs are going nowhere with Raycrap, lousy D (although Kubina helps, they still have a lousy D) and no forwards except the aging Sundin. Is Bob sleeping ? I'm looking for Willie Mitchell ! BG is looking at offense, not defense. He's probably talking to Elias, Arnott and Shanahan right now...at least I hope !!!!
Tony
Bruins sign Marc Savard http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/news_story/?ID=170214&hubname= How can you ignore money in a cap system, it's critical to pay guys the right price otherwise you get a bunch of AHLers playing on your team,,,that's not smart management. Ignoring salary Kubina is a huge signing for the Leafs because they struggled defensively. While taking account the cap, the Leafs might have shot themselves in the foot is now they can't manage to not only sign their RFAs but put together an set of skilled forwards like you said. You and I think alike as there is no real money for an Elias for the LEafs. Kabina and Kaberle are both decent defenceman so I would argue that point about their Defence. Plus they are going after Klee as well. Why not, no self respecting forward would play for the Leafs. What does everyone think the Habs are going to do. I think Willie mitchell and Jason Arnot are two targets for them. If Markov goes down again, Habs are going to need some depth. The Bulldogs do not have a "Step in the lineup" defenceman that the Habs can use right now. Edited July 1, 2006 by InsaneAVSfan
Habsterr
http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/news_story/?ID=170211&hubname=nhl would have liked at least Chara as a habs. Savard would have been nice too.
