jetsniper
They should all play with goalie masks. Each player could custom his own mask like goalies. Way more fun. All in a sudden you'd have anonymous players getting fans just because they have a cool mask. And it'd make more stuff to sell for teams. Only downside is the loss of female fans who wouldnt be able to swoon over player's face anymore... How is eliminating puckbunnies from the game a downside? =D
beliveau1
Ah yes - the 'puckbunny' - brings back some memories from games in northern parts of Ontario & Quebec - Rouyn, Noranda, North Bay, Sudbury and a few of the little towns too...... Some great little gals(I wonder how many of them ever left the arenas finally?)

We did try something similar in juniors. After a bench penalty a player skated towards the box wearing the mask from the back up. Hilarious. He received an extra 10'. classical
Females swoon over toothless hockey players? This I have to see. You've never seen the girlfriends and wives of NHL players before? I wonder why these fake-blonde babes can overlook the fact that most of the players are missing a few pearl ivories. Oh yeah, "fame" and $$$$$$.
