I miss my SNES so freaking much, thats why I'm glad about the Wii's Virtual Console. I have to play Super Mario RPG (announced it should be released by the end of the year) and Chrono Trigger again. And Earthbound.

I played Chrono Trigger on PS1.

I think the new Bond looks like a fantastic rebirth of a classic character. Darker, gritty; I think this could be the best Bond yet. And I loved Connery and Brosnan. Open your mind to change, ye lads.

I emailed the production company a couple of years ago when it was rumoured that Brosnan wasn't going to return and said that the best choice for the most suave, sophisticated Bond would be, if he could master the British accent, none other than Will Smith. Laugh if you will, but his fantastic work on The Legend of Bagger Vance combined with his obvious action skills and slick, suave attitude would make for a brilliant Bond.

Maybe one day when the world can open its mind a little more. ;)

Oh, and I garnered quite the following of people around here who came to see my point of view and thought Smith could very well make a superb Bond.

I bought the book yesterday. Must've been the only copy in town; I was out of luck going to the library, so I decided to check the two biggest book stores in town. At the first one they didn't have it, but I found a copy (in English) at the second one. Cost me 119 SEK (about 17 bucks), a Penguin paperback edition with Mr. Daniel Craig on the front cover. I don't mind reading it in English, au contrair (it's really better if you can read a book in its original language), it's just that it was more than I wanted to spend on a book I'm not sure I'm going to like. Books in foreign languages are expensive in Sweden. If i had been able to find a copy in Swedish I probably only would have had to pay a third of the price.

I was pretty tired when I went to bed last night so I only read like the first 4 chapters. Looks promising though.

Really? A 1/3?

17 bucks for any book is really good deal here. I'm usually paying 25-30 on books, occasionally more.

It was a paperback. Paperbacks in Swedish usually cost from about 35-40 Swedish Crowns (SEK) to 65 SEK.

I prefer hardbacks, but in some cases (notbeing able to find a hardback is one case, books I'm not sure I'm going to like is another case) I'll get the paperback.

ADD: 17 bucks (American I should point out) is really cheap for hardbacks in Sweden too.

Correction, the library is the way to go. ;)

But the library cannot always help you.

But the library cannot always help you.

In Ohio it can. All the libraries in the state have an exchange program, where you can check out any book from any library and they ship it to your library for free. Anything you want can be found in at least one library throughout the state.

Similar program over here too. I can get books from any library on Vancouver Island as normal, or from any library in the province (maybe Alberta too) for free as well, but with a reduced loan period. Same thing with my university library too. :D

Yes, sure, if you can stand to wait for it. Yesertady, I couldn't. ^_^

Unfortunately, I am not young. However, I am a very patient person, but obviously there are times when my patience fails me. Book stores is a weakness of mine.

I have ordered books off the Internet though. But I prefer to go to a store, buy whatever item my heart desires and then be able to have it in my hand and take it home without delay.
