Toren
This game will really shot what our boys are made of. A win here proves that we've got a lot of character, and can survive through the injuries of the playoffs. A loss, and our chances of getting a playoff spot are that much smaller. Huge game today, but all of them from now on are... Hopefully I won't be getting tears all over the goal-by-goal. Unless they're tears of joy from a Jose Theodore shutout *knock knock knock* :ghg: [Edited on 2004/2/21 by Toren]
Leafs Suck
If the Habs win, Leaf fans will blame injuries If the Leafs win, Leaf fans will plan a parade
Toren
Parade's already been planned. Either win or lose, beating us will be the only big thing they do all year. Too bad. Leafs fans really want a picture of a cup that's in colour.
Dalhabs
Prediction time... I really think this will end in a loss. No markov and no souray = not good HABS : 3 Leafs: 4 (they score the gamewinner in the last 2 minutes like allways) I hope I am wrong :ghg:
Habiman
Enough of the Kiovu talk already! What's up with Perrault? already! He's go no heart, speed or desire.
puck7x
I'm just not buying into the hype leading up to the game... The habs and the leafs are not real rivals right now , the players arent rivals at the moment , they have little dislike for each other. Its all the fans ..... Habs fans living in Toronto would kill for the habs to win games versus the leafs. These people are surronded by Leafs fans their whole lives and would like nothing more then to be able to stick it to them with a habs win ... Habs fans living in Montreal though (myself) , dont really care... Anyways its tough to describe what I'm talking about... I guess you'd have to live here to understand , same goes for the media-situation , if you dont live here , you probably dont know how it works. Sure I cant stand the leafs homerism from CBC/TSN/SNET ... But I just change the channel to RDS , or go outside to get away from it. :-^ ... I feel bad for you guys in Toronto. I've decided that every time the Habs play the Leafs that I will NOT watch any Toronto-biased media before the game, I dont even read the forums (except this one) ... The whole thing makes me sick how these games are made out to be the biggest of the season (Although it does apply for the habs tonight) . I'd rather that everyone would just shutup and play the game. The history is great! But the rivalry between the teams is dead , the only thing that would bring it back to life is a long hard fought playoff series ... Right now , Its a fans rivalry. Habs biggest on ice rivals are the Bruins. [Edited on 2004-2-21 by puck7x]

jl.roberts
Garon starts! Unfortunately, Langdon is being sat tonight. The Leafs are a tough team (even without Roberts), so to me it makes no sense for this guy to be sat. Juneau returns, hopefully not to Begin's place. - RDS.ca

Why scratch the guy when he only plays 5 minutes a game? Its not like he even has a chance to make a mistake in that little amount of icetime. I'm glad Garon gets the start though... Begin should stay on the 3rd line , he's outplayed Juneau everytime he's gotten the chance there. :ghg:
sakiqc
Juneau is better not play more than Begin  Langdon not there? wow.. that's weird. Maybe Julien doesn't want him to light the fire and keep the goon team asleep :ghg: 3-0 Win Zednik, Dykhuis, Koivu EN 1st star Theo (i hope he'll play! the more the game is important, the more he's awesome )
habsfan88
Puck, your absolutly right! Man there are so many leafs fans here and all of my friends are leaf fans and I just prefer to watch the habs vs. leafs games myself. It also sucks living here and being a habs fan because I don't get RDS, so therefore i can hardly watch a habs game during the week.
Spider-Man NL
This is going to be a big game for the :hlogo: because the Islanders well be plaing Buffalo tonight. sakiqc
Argh, sad mistake by komi! 1-0 Leafs (antropov) Don't give up Komi! :ghg:
Toren
10 minutes in and Komisarek is already -2. 2-0 Leafs. This is getting ugly fast.
TheAussiePosse
Garon doesn't last the period 11 shots, 3 goals. Theodore is in
sakiqc
Why put Garon 2 games in a row? Do we have concern about Theo not being the goalie of the situation? Damn.. now it’S probably too late, except if our anemic attack start to be more creative:wall:
Toren
This is where I miss Langdon. Begin, Ward, and Komi need to make some big hits. Someone's gotta drop the gloves and get some momentum going. EDIT: This is why I never want to trade Rivet. He knew he had to do something, and protecting Zednik and showing that you can't push this team around is what he did when he singled out Marchment after they left the box. puck7x
That was a sweet fight... Too close to call on the decision too ... Both fighters got in alot of good shots , both guys got cut... And it lasted awhile... Talking about Rivet vs Marchment...
TheAussiePosse
Dagenais scores. Habs pushing towards the end of the period. Post makes a big save on Renberg. 4-1, maybe Komi's gonna pick up the slack...
Toren
WHY?! WHY WOULD YOU BLOW THE WHISTLE THAT EARLY?! I'm all for equal opportunity and jobs for the disabled, but we need to stop pulling refs from the Canadian Institute for the Blind. VanMassenhoven, this one's for you: :-^

I hope the ref gets fined for that. Fraser , McGough , Gregson , Van Massenhoven, Bill McCreary ... ALL BLOW! GET ROBOT REFS! Its the only fair solution.
