  1. Kotkaniemi 0pts 0 shots 10:57, 1 for 1 on faceoffs, in loss today.
  2. Hagens next draft also not too bad. IIHF - McKenna sparks Canada to gold
  3. Take with grain of salt, i dont necessarily agree neither; but is just from small poll of how some folks see the habs youth.
  4. 32-11 shots at end of 2nd, poor goalie, but just down 3-2.
  5. I guess similar start to careers, just bit less rope to play it seems. Kaliyev 186gms 71pts 12:08/gm Dach 212gms 99pts 17:01/gm Newhook 214gms 100pts 14:35/gm
  6. Richie roofs a sweet goal short-side to tie USA 1-1 in 2nd period. (Cole Hutson caught up ice, left a 2 on 1) But USA seems a deeper and stronger team so far. Cole Hutson sets up Eiserman on PP for goal #127, passing Caufield. USA up 2-1 Outshooting Canada 20-8
  7. High rating for hab prospects Organizational Rankings 3. Montreal Canadiens – DobberProspects
  8. Yes, pretty sure 99.9% of Habfans will be pulling for both the Panthers & Rangers to sweep! I still dont care whether Dallas or Vegas wins today. Rangers start the 2nd rd at 4 this afternoon.
  9. Pronman on Catton; Revisiting the 2019 NHL Draft: Cole Caufield, Kaapo Kakko and lessons learned - The Athletic "Even though the player style is very different, the one guy whom I can best analogize Caufield to in this year’s draft is Berkly Catton. Catton measures in at 5-foot-10, but everything else about his game is excellent. He’s a high-end skater. He is extremely skilled. He competes well. He put up huge numbers in his draft season. He had very good numbers as a 16-year-old. He led his Hlinka Gretzky in goals and points. He was one of the best players at his U17 challenge. Like Caufield, I don’t think it’s worth overthinking Catton; just pick the supremely talented player who has dominated his age group for years and, yes, is a bit small.
  10. Same, mostly because franchise has never won a cup. McDavid 5 games 12 points (Draisaitl 10) already, will he stay hot and kill the Canucks?
  11. Good to see Canucks move on and 3rd stringer play surprisingly solid with huge shutout, but vs Oilers i dont like Canuck chances.
  12. Engstrom/Guhle/Harris are 'able' to play RH-d if need be (not preferred of course), if do trade Barron, Kovacevic or Savard. Hutson isnt a normal d-prospect and I dont think his 2 points & 22:43/game in 2 NHL games is a "Poehling-like" start to NHL career. More like an Adam Fox, who jumped from NCAA to NHL with 42point rookie season, is my guess.
  13. U18 leaders. Hagens with 3a (22pts is USA tournament record), Hutson 1g1a so far today. Eiserman gets 2 goals so far today for 126 and ties Cole Caufield for USA record. (maybe who cares if he cant or dosent care to defend a lick... maybe?)
