  1. Habs Prospects All games are at Eastern time May 7 games United States at Slovakia 12:00 pm - Exhibition game (Bratislava, Slovakia) Cole Caufield (#22) - Juraj Slafkovský - Canada at Hungary 1:00 pm - Exhibition game (Budapest, Hungary) Kaiden Guhle (#21) -
  2. Assume one of Mailloux, Struble, Harris, Kovacevic, Barron is gone this summer. What value would Mailloux & Jets pick be to the Jets? Would it be Cole Perfetti value?
  3. I imagine the Hab scouts keep tabs on young top prospects in prep academies, rookies in CHL, U-16, etc and lots of youth tournaments. Last year it was noted, will be more high quality d-men in the 2024 draft and am sure Mgmt knew this. But; picking by position might not be best way to go with high school kids, to then be hedging bets on next year's draft 16 yr olds.
  4. 3 in 29 times it has happened; Canadiens hope luck in on their side at Tuesday's NHL Draft Lottery | Montreal Gazette "The NHL introduced the draft lottery in 1995. In the first 29 years of the lottery, the team with the best odds has won the No. 1 pick 11 times. ... Three times, the team with the fifth-best odds of winning the draft lottery (the Canadiens’ position this season) have won the No. 1 pick. Those three teams were the New York Islanders, who selected goalie Rick DiPietro in 2000; the Blackhawks, who picked Patrick Kane in 2007; and the New Jersey Devils, who drafted Nico Hischier in 2017."

  6. I think Rangers and Aves will win their. series
  7. Safe to say Eiserman will always have more goals than assists and worry is that when aint scoring, he wont bring much to table (Hoffman i keep thinking)
  8. My guess, the Aves. Will be some wildass mockdraft guesses which players GMs draft in the top ten this year, with so many quality d-men in the mix (a year late for Habs though). Wheeler attended the U-18s and new ranking. 2024 NHL Draft top 32 prospects: Macklin Celebrini leads Scott Wheeler’s post-U18 worlds ranking - The Athletic "Five of the top-10 prospects on my list are D, and I’m higher on each of them than I was on the two defensemen taken in the top 10 in 2023 (David Reinbacher No. 5 to Montreal and Dmitri Simashev No. 6 to Arizona)." A sea of d-men around 5.
  9. Caufield vs Slafkovski today in tune up game. Guhle to play vs Hungary
  10. Beck is done OHL playoffs and off till Memorial Cup. Kapanen named to Finn world team. Rohrer played vs Guhle yesterday 5-1 win for Canada exhibition game. Kapanen played vs Sweden in 4-3 Finn win in Euro "Tour"
  11. Kotkaniemi 0pts 0 shots 10:57, 1 for 1 on faceoffs, in loss today.
  12. Hagens next draft also not too bad. IIHF - McKenna sparks Canada to gold
  13. Take with grain of salt, i dont necessarily agree neither; but is just from small poll of how some folks see the habs youth.
  14. 32-11 shots at end of 2nd, poor goalie, but just down 3-2.
  15. I guess similar start to careers, just bit less rope to play it seems. Kaliyev 186gms 71pts 12:08/gm Dach 212gms 99pts 17:01/gm Newhook 214gms 100pts 14:35/gm
