  1. Yeah they are deep between the pipes but they have no one that can take them the distance.
  2. Nope I think you covered it all. Sykora is not the answer not right now. I would also much rather see Calder in a Habs sweater then Sykora.
  3. That would be amazing. If he can lead that team that is very important. Montreal will need leaders in the next 5 or 6 years. I hope all three make the team and play exceptional.
  4. I don’t know when he will be back. I just know that he will be making a lot of people very happy when he does. He does have a history of recovering very quickly.
  5. This will be a boring week but I have to study as well. But we all truly know that when we study we will be thinking of the habs and checking stats online and will be on habs world every 5 min for study breaks. haha
  6. Oh yeah he will score at least 15 goals this season. And you guys are right he is missing that little touch in front of the net, but he rarely hurts the team. I enjoy every second Bulis is on the ice. But when he scores on a breakaway or 2 on 1 it is extra exciting because he gets about 4 or 5 a game but they rarely end up in the back of the net. DONT TRADE BULIS
  7. Gainey did stop shopping. And the Habs are 4th in the east. He knows what he is doing, he is a great GM. Montreal is fairly close to the cap and I imagine BG will always be looking and asking around, but whomever said he wont be forced into a deal that is so true and it makes me happy we don’t have a push over GM that will make hasty decisions. I am sure when March 9th rolls around there will be at least one important new face on this roster.
  8. I feel the same way about this site. I enjoy every single post even if I strongly disagree with it. All the topics are fun and everyone responds quite well to one another. And the info provided to me because of this site has made me one happy man.
  9. That’s amazing I started to read the posts (not looking at the beginning dates and started to think TheAussiePosse and Markov79 were living in a cave when typing Juneau) Anyways I think Higgins has done very well and yes he is in good shape (lowest body fat on the team). I think he will be a very solid 3rd line centre or 2nd line winger. I believe he will gain more confidence with his offensive ability and put more pucks in the net. All in all a very good draft pick that I hope continues to work hard every shift.
  10. Come on guys. Dags and Ribero seem to be clicking again. If the Habs were to trade both of them right now it would not pose well for the team. Personally I believe if the Habs are to trade both of those players it will not be for a 3rd line winger. Once again it is not good business sense to trade players when they are worthless, it would be better if they do want to trade the pair to let them continue to produce for a couple of weeks to up their value.
  11. Yeah great year. If the Habs keep this pace there is no doubt in my mind they will finish 4th of 5th in the east. 106 point pace is amazing that is the point total that won TB 1st in the east in 03 04
  12. Hahaha that would have been amazing. But not for the few fans in the building wearing Avery jerseys.
  13. Hahaha I believe Habs world needs a new Haiku sectoion to handle all of these posts hahahah. Very funny boys.
  14. Nolan is not the answer. Lets get Bertuzzi hahaha I know we would have to give up Theodore + more so its not worth it but it would be cool to see him in a Habs jersey.
  15. Everyone’s comments are warranted, because as many of you said we do not know whether or not Ribero made a comment about the teams lack of putting pucks in the net or specifically Ryder. I don’t believe that he would say this about Ryder they seem to be close friends and work well together. I am sure that Ryder is very grateful to have a playmaker like Ribero playing with him and I am sure that Ribero enjoys playing with a natural goal scorer like Ryder. So lets home that next Saturday when a majority of our beloved Habs are back in the line up (Koivu, Bonk, Markov, K Rex) that the habs will get hot with consistent scoring from both their first and second lines, even if that does mean Dagenais yes Dagenais on the 2nd line wow I cant believe I typed that.
  16. Yeah I dont know about that. Lets all cheer for the Western Conference teams to beat the east.
  17. Yeah I agree. Dogs are struggling. Send down some of our guns that dont have to clear waivers and let them dominate.
  18. hey lazy 26 i am from kingston as well. Whats ur name???
  19. Damn it. I really hope he is playing tonight as well.
  20. No way Huet starts tonight. Theo better be in nets the habs have 7 days off after this game.
  21. The habs cant sell anymore tickets. Every single game this year has been a sell out.
  22. I agree. I sure hope they make it two in a row against the Kings tonight go Kings go. I will not be saying the same thing tomorrow.
  23. Sorry guys Roy has nothing to apologize for. If I were him (the franchise of the team) on that faithful night in December when he was left in for 8 or 9 Detroit goals I would have reacted the same way. In no way shape or form should he be aplogizing to the Habs the Habs should be apologizing to him. And I hope one day in the future the number 33 hangs from the rafters of the Bell Centre where it belongs. In his full 9 years in montreal he had 8 20+ win seasons. and his sav % was below 900 only once. Oh yeah and 2 cups 4 Jennings 2 Conn smythes and 3 Vezinas in Montreal.
  24. No I have heard nothing at most he will miss one more game. As the habs only have one game in the next 8 days.
