I don't think our bottom 6 is comparable to last year. Moore and Metro were great. But hopefully Boyd at least hits. We brought in Moen for that and he thinks he's Jean Beliveau. As far as needs on the top 6, thye are pretty apparent. The only hope is that AK is better without his brother. The team lost an OT game to back into the playoffs, and Halak got us through two rounds. "They were perimeter shots!" "We played team defense!" Ya well 50 and 60 perimeter shots per game is no good. I've said this a million times and it's pretty redundant. Unless this team is passing perfect, they play rope a dope game and score when they get oportunities. But when there is a tough defense, the team looks pathetic. They can't do anything. I think we are two players short on the top 6 and I still say the Plek contract is two years too long. I hope I'm proven wrong, but I'm not happy with this offseason. I just don't think the team got better. PS, I was shopping yesterday and saw a t shirt with the Halak stop sign. I'm pretty sure that means something.

Hey if Price can be the man, and Plek plays the same as he did for one season for the next 6 years, the PG is a genius. I just don't think we got better. Halak is better than Auld. I don't care about SK, but would have been very happy to land Ellis. Boyd is a role player among a million. Everbody has them. I doubt he's better than metro or moore.

I supported the signings last year. So far this year looks like a train wreck to me. The team is supposed to get better. I just don't believe what we are doing is making the team better. I just hope there is something coming.

What I like is that if we can get Ellis signed, Price doesn't have as much negotiating power! Ellis is pretty good. You never know, with SK out, his bro may be less distracted!

His bio says that he has little offensive potential, but who cares. Scuderi, Regher, Koimisarek style players are critical to success. I am very hopeful.

Ya, the whole SK thing is so disapointing. O'Sullivan is not a good choice. Nillson could be, but he is a bit small. He doesn't play small though. He actually drives the net and seems to have agood work ethic. His numbers dont reflect it, but I would take a chance on him before O'sullivan.

I think Sullivan is in hte 4 mill range. He is not that good. Very streaky and not worth it. I dont know what Nillson makes, but he is a more consistent player
