Let me get the ball rolling with a little haiku. You gave me herpes. It really burns when I pee. I hate you, you whore.

Who's LA? Welcome to the boards Joe.
  3. If it's July first and Komisarek has no deal, then I start worrying. Until then, I don't freak out since Bob always has this under control, no need to push the panic button.
  4. Hartnell is NOT on the block. I've so many Flyers games this season and I'm not even kidding he's a monster. He's right up there with Mike Richards in terms of untouchable.
  5. Is there an unedited video somewhere of this event?
  6. The Sharks have nothing to lose to call this guy up. Congrats Claude.
  7. I have seen Mason play, he's the real deal. As it was pointed out, right now it's hard to judge since both are still young and don't even have a complete NHL season below their belt. As of now, I'd put both on par.
  8. Nashville is loaded with superb blue line prospect, they don't need O'Byrne. They need proven goal scorers since they already have their equivalents to Higgins and D'Agostini so I have my doubts they'd do such a deal.

Shut up Colin, you old man!
  10. Maybe YOU don't get it! Nah, I'm just messing with you. I know what you mean with the whole religious aspect. I just think it's taken a little too extreme.
  11. Didn't know they were against non-playoff teams but regardless I'm still impressed. This guy had terrible numbers everywhere he went since he got drafted.
  12. I hate it when the assholes who get on at Berri-UQAM (or all transfer stations) stay right in front of the door and don't move to let the people inside the metro cart exit. They're clearly in the middle of the way and won't budge just so they can have a seat. Edit: I forgot about the idiots inside the bus who put their snow covered shoes all over the opposing empty seats in the bus.
  13. Is anyone else blown away by Loic Lacasse? Not too long ago this guy was written off as a waste and holy smokes he's ripping it up in the AHL! He's 6-1-0 with 2 shutouts, a 2.07 GAA with a 922 save percentage.
  14. I'm sure Spezza won't be moved but I wouldn't be surprised if Alfredsson is kicking himself for signing that extension. Same came be said for Murray, he would have looked like a genius to deal him at the deadline and re-sign him in the summer.
  15. I'm not saying that everyone in your area aren't real hockey fans or Habs fans. I'm just speaking generally from what I've seen over the past years. You're going to tell me there are as many Habs fans today as back in the days when Jeff Hackett was the starting goalie for Montreal? Yes, there are loyal fans who have been following the team since they were kids but don't expect me to believe that this recent surgence of "Habs-mania" is not related one bit to the team's success. It is always related to the teams success and as I said previously, no one gave a crap when they sucked (except for the true fans). Calling it a religion following is a joke. It's just good timing with excellent marketing from the Habs brass. We all seem to forget that it wasn't that long ago that the team was being sold and there weren't many buyers for it to the point where some people thought the team was being moved.
  16. Not gonna happen. Sens need to turn the page on this season and try to fix this problem within the UFA system and put more emphasis on improving their scouting department. It just hasn't been the same since Timmins and Frank Jay left (and ironically joined the Habs). Murray is so desperate for a puck moving defender that he's willing to give a try to Erik Karlsson next season. Sure, he's got some serious potential to be one hell of a PP QB but the kid is 5-11 and weighs about 170 lbs if you round up. Not exactly a smart move to rush their most recent first round pick just because their NHL team is sucking. Let the kid bulk up and get playing time in the AHL at least before thinking NHL.
  17. Leclaire's ankle is in bad shape. He went to see a specialist in Cleveland a while back and he was told that surgery should take care of this. Leclaire has been reluctant to get the surgery but my guess is that the addition of Dubbie pretty much confirmed he's gone for the rest of the season. Gone as in getting the surgery.
  18. I hope whoever trades for Lecavalier is nice enough to send his condolences to the Bolts because that's gonna put the final nails in their coffin. I don't people seem to realize that Lecavalier is not just the face of the Tampa franchise, he's the most recognized sports figure in Tampa. That speaks volumes on its own since he's a HOCKEY PLAYER and to even think that the Lightning are trying to trade him is downright stupid. R.I.P. Tampa Bay Lightning 1992-2009 "At least they didn't choke like the Devil Rays when the championship was on the line."
  19. Good move for the Oils. Weird one for the Pens. Don't they need more scoring? Matt Cooke playing with Malkin might wok short-term but it's not exactly a reliable option.
  20. Funky idea but I'd tone down on the religion part. The Habs are a trend right now, it's a normal occurrence for all sport teams that do well. People tend to forget that it wasn't that long ago that the Bell Centre wasn't selling out each night. In fact, I remember that about 1 or 2 years before the lock out, no one gave a crap about the Habs. Everything exploded when the Habs made the playoffs and people out of no where were cheering and going nuts. In fact, if you look closely, half of these people aren't even hockey fans, they're just Canadiens fans. They don't know jack about anything else in the NHL aside the Habs basics.
  21. What's the deal with the black box in a plane. If it's the only thing that survives the crash, why not make the whole plane out of it?
  22. O'Byrne doesn't need to clear waivers. In fact, he already played some AHL games. Kemp is just there to help out the AHL team.
