  2. okkkkk that's a puzzling move to say the least Do they want to compete with Chicago for being the worst managed team in the league or somethin?

  4. If the season started tomorrow, I'm fairly certain the lines would be Higgins-Koivu-Ryder Samsonov-Ribiero-Kovalev Perezhogin-Plekanec-Johnson Bégin-Bonk-Murray Extra : Downey Markov-Komisarek Souray-Rivet Bouillon-Dandenault Extra; Streit Huet Aebischer Altough I wonder if we could do an all soviet line.. can Samsonov, Kovalev,Perezhogin or Kostytin play center with any effectiveness?
  5. Happy to have him on the team, he's one of the 2 Bruins I actually like (the other one being Bergeron, but we all know he's in Boston for a long long time)
  6. It's ironic when you think about it The cap was created to help small market teams like Ottawa to compete. What it accomplished for them so far is make them loose both Chara and Havlat for nothing and next to nothing
  7. So Higgins get paid barely more than Streit.. this is no fair for him, he's so much better than him! But eh, I won't complain. Best bang for the buck on the team!

    Fifa World Cup

This may sound like a dumb question, but why does Italy play in blue? They're is no blue in their flag...
  9. If you hate the US because of their TV shows then you will want to nuke Québec Specially TQS.. o God this station is so horribly bad. Their only saving grace is the Simpsons. Their news are especially bad, it's very biased and superficial. Plus they seem unaware than they're is something existing outside of Montréal. And dont get me started on 110% and their so called hockey experts that see anti french conspiracy everywhere. Funny tough, they shout racism everytime a french player get benched, but they bitch all the time against europeans. They dont seem to get the irony. All shouting and arrogance, no content. Thank God Habs World aint like this one bit. Fart jokes are the most complicated form of humor they can work with. So sad. Ugh. I hate that channel.
  10. http://www.nhlpa.com/MediaReleases/R...-47FD155CD49F} Ouch poor Sabres,. almost all their best players are going to arbitration
  11. My own list of Canadians I don't like 1 - Pierre Trudeau 2- Pierre Trudeau 3 - did I said Pierre Trudeau? Nah, seriously.. Paul Martin 4 - Don Cherry 5 - André Boisclair 6 - Jacques Parizeau 7 - Tom Green That's all
  12. mm do you think anyone will sign Lindros or Allison? Not than I want Montréal to sign them, but I'm wondering if their career is over.
  13. oo music thread I have to admit than.. I like Céline Dion *gets kicked out of thread*
  14. Frnce Germany would be the best With a France victory of course, but being French Canadian I'm obviously biased toward my distant motherland.
  15. He is? My bad, I tought he was becoming an UFA like Souray and Rivet. Thank God. I hopê BG give him a long term contract to delay free agency as much as possible, assuming he have a decent season. Bonk will be re-signed for cheaper than his current contract and Zednik.. well the consensus among Habs fan is than he's, like Ribis, on his way out already so that's no biggie. I was worried than Markov might pull a Chara on us tough and quit the team for $1M more...
  16. IMO he's a bit overpaid now but it's not like a few hundred thousand dollars more is gonna screw up our cap situation. Altough I'm worried about Markov next year.. how much will weh ave to give him to keep him on the team??
  17. WTF Chara goes to Boston for 1 mere more million than he would had with Ottawa That show he's really not a team player at all.
  18. Happy Canada Day everybody
  19. Arnason? Hell no! He was unable to produce as a SENS despites all the offensive power they have tp support him. He would be even more worthless as a habs.
  20. That's a lot of money, but per dollar you get so much more value with Redden than McCabe. Hopefully this will put downward pressures on defensemen prices. And Chare will go for nothing less than the max $$$.. I don't think the Sens have enough cap room left to afford that.
  21. Beer or no beer tonight? That is the question Maybe I should keep my beer money for Canada's day
  22. I don't like this First Richards then McCabe get insane contracts.. salaries are going up way too fast Markov is better then McCabe.. will he ask for $6 - 6.5 millions next year when he become an UFA? I sure hope not.. *cross fingers*
  23. Hey, could you make a Bégin sig for me? Thanks , and welcome here BTW
  24. this is a tempest in a glass of water as far as I am concerned. This issue have no impact on the daily lives of ordinary people. The only ones really concerned by that issue are hardcore separatist that will go search any reason to blast Canada.
