  1. this rivalry can use a bit of moen, prust and parros, to do more pushing and pulling. not sure having our best d-men and smallish forwards, playing tough guy is the right game plan for the last few mins. come on boys, lets steal this one. GO HABS GO!
  2. not fun... we mailed it in after the first. Its the Sens vs. Price. The habs didn't show up in the second and now we are drowning.
  3. Agreed. Bourque has no finish. He should take a page from Gallagher and go to the net.
  4. welcome to the goaltending clinic, pricer is in the house!
  5. 28 saves already tonight the only thing price hasn't done is score. The Sens are on the puck and we can't get any hope out of the zone. Wow we need a higher compete level than this if we have any hope of handing the Hens a loss tonight...
  6. nice save pricer! back to back stops! the price is right, tonight!
  7. 44-28-5-5 98 Pts. 3rd in Altantic Div. 8th Overrall. 250 goals. Good Luck All.
  8. Nicely done CHL Star... I'm happy to be wrong in favour of our beloved Canadiens. Lets just hope they can keep it together and keep putting three and four games streaks... GO HABS GO!
  9. Go Habs Go! Prime time timeslot on CBC for Sat. Night Hockey! We need to bring our A game! Go HABS Go!
  10. Go HABS Go! Time to clip some chicken wings. Those high flying Buffalo's can be trouble. Lets hope they are not weilding their sabres this afternoon. Go HABS Go!
  11. I certainly feel there is truth to this comment. And really guys if we were running teams. Wouldn't you provide your line that goes up against the habs best line a debrief of how to stop them? In fact., If you watched the Laghers vs Habs or Floridian's vs. Habs; And I paid close attention to this line from the view of the opposition team; watch what tactics lines used against the 1st line of DD, Coles and Patches. It was obvious that the standing order given was to take away their speed in the neutral zone and most certainly take them out of the play and ignore the puck, if they cross the blue line. Under no circumstances were they being allowed to take the outside lane and power to the net ( I was surprised and happy to see Borky's power move to the net that resulted in a scoring chance, I guess there is hope for him). The usual moves are not being allowed. Now would you argue they didn't have legs to make that move anyway. I'd agree with that too... However, my point is this, we need to as JMMR says... "re invent himself yet again if he wishes to succeed!"
  12. I'm in the Gally camp! This kid is a game breaker. He has the skill to win a game with a single goal and an intelligent passer that sees the play develop during a regular shift! I compare his shot to the last sniper we were blessed to have in critical times on the PP and on our top two lives in the recent past.... that would be #27 himself... In my humble opinion they don't only share the same first name of Alex! They also share a tremendously accurate shot! And an electifying wrist shot. NOW! is he NHL ready. This is a question only he will answer to us in the first five games. IF he is a game breaker as I predict within the first five games. At least twice! ( in two of the first five games of this season) Then he will be kept with the club. If his +/- is not up to snuff and does not become a shootout lights out magic man! then he goes down. If its me making the call as GM for the habs; he goes down to the minors now! I agree with a few of the comments in the thread. Lets not burn the value of one full season with the habs and lets bring a talent like his allong gently. No need to rush a sure shot superstar in the making. GO HABS GO!
  13. So happy to be making this prediction. Looking forward to watching and enjoying my habs prove my prediction. Would be thrilled if Les Canadiens do better than my prediction. 25-15-8 for 58 pts 7th in the East, 15th in the NHL. 124 GF 116 GA Go Habs Go! Merci.
  14. "Patch" or "Patches" or a few ex-coaches, favourite coach... "Burns" or "Jacq" or "Blake" or "Scotty" Thanks for the post! most fun I've had, I'm just about done with the thought of a non-season. GO HABS GO!
  15. I want the pick, but refuse to support the Sabres. Go Habs Go!
  16. I admit that I was disappointed that I did not get my prediction in on time. Looking back now, I admit too, that I would have not even come close. I will however, predict (pray) that we will get a decent draft pick! Go HABS Go!
  17. max pac, showing some nice hands. too bad he couldn't draw another. go habs go.
  18. eller, moen, kostitsyn combine on that last goal. 3-1. and now on the pp. can we please get this pp right.
  19. hot stove talking about habs making trade noise. quick someone keep an eye out for city cabs at the air canada center.
  20. i dont think cw is looking at matchups but he is playing with bingo balls to put his line ups together. this is a must win game for a pile of reasons, so bingo or line of the minute. lets work hard and pressure the puck. go habs go.
  21. madness! not another racial debate. aren't we bigger than silly racial, religious, language debates. wait i'm sure i'm forgetting one such issue thats still hotly debated! hmmmmm. nest pas.
  22. if we lose another player to injury, i'm going to cry. although if gomez never returns, i'll jump for joy! either way, i agree with brobin, boring game off to see the Canadians play go canadians go!
  23. open ice hip checks are not easy! the clean ones are rare! it must be april fools.
