I have to say, i enjoyed the last seven minutes of the games and on. (had hockey practice in the middle of it) Many are saying that they weather wasnt good for the event, i thought it was perfect, the snow, the cold dark feeling.... thats what i imagine winter is, so i think the winter classic should be like that. As for the stoppage in play i would alos have to go against what the majority of people are saying. As a goalie myself, i played my first outgame this year, it began to snow during the game (the game counted). I could barely see anything, i got scored on 4 times because of the snow, it really affected my play. And to give the other team an advantage like that would be unfair. I agree with Pierre in that it should be held at a neutral location next time. I looked at the stands and it was all buffalo, i think i saw only one penguins jersey. As that might be great for Buffalo, i feel that the other team suffers from this. Not only that but they could use this to expose hockey to a city that doesnt have the privilege of having an NHL team...... Winnipeg (i still dont understand why they dont have a team)

Any ideas on who we would get for Ryder? or are they thinking about signing him next summer? For the people obsessesed with getting Montreal an Enforcer, they've got Colten Orr , he is no where close to the skill of Ryder so we would throw someone else in with him?

First post in a while and haven't seen this thread... I got an XBOX 360 in july and got live in November. I just got NHL 08 for Christmas and it messes up alot. The game freezes and messes up my live connection. Im not sure if this is a common problem. AND ive actually had a red ring around the power button before, it was like that for like 5 min and then my xbox just turned on.

Go to the same highschool pacioretty did (new canaan highschool), if i had played my freshman year of highschool i would have played with him...... Last year was in his sisters math class. My school has 3 guys who were drafted this year and we have like 4 others in the NHL and Ryan shannon is from our neighboring town.

HAHA, I showed my friend who is a Toronto Fan and a HUGE supporter of Pogge the video and he said it was disgrace to the Toronto hockey in genreal!

Today I have performed my first photoshop. (my signature), its my first one, Manny Fernandez is one of my fav goalies, i know he plays for the bruins, but i still like him and will be rooting this year for him.

Read this article a while back about it- Outdoor Game Once again, the NHL manages to shoot itself in the foot. Yes, great, another outdoor game; I watched the Edmonton games, and the Michigan/Michigan State game (well, thanks to Comcast, the third period only). But New Year's Day? Only the biggest college football day of the year? I can't believe anyone at NBC, let alone the NHL, thought it would be a good idea to broadcast a hockey game in the middle of the annual football orgy. Great, they'll get the thirty-five people in the country that are NOT watching bowl games to tune in... maybe. What idiot thought this was a grand idea?
