Montreal ended Colorado game with 7 players on the ice for that i give the benifit of the doubt but a 5-3 PP, Gionta comes back and Martin doesn't send anyone ?? Plekanel follows the game and jumps in. There are other second guessings around but Laraque in Calgary with 1:30 minutes to go, breaking Price streak after two hot games, stick with 4 line and 6 D, Moen on the first line, continuous line changes, and just my opinion a system that doesn't fit the players in hand.

That is crappy for him to get the call down. Mtl needs 7 defensemen in the line up and one forward double shift. They all have too much time on the ice thta they can handle.

And way up in the plus minus. And the PP stinks in Mtl. Darche is playing great hockey too. If Desharnais was not hurt i would in his bandwagon. If we loose might as well have a local savor to it all.

Bergeron will make a difference on the PP. He did very well in Hamilton, seeing how MTL are on PP they needed him last game and this caused 2 pts less. Small things makes a huge difference. Play 7 D. Send down Paccioretti, D'agostini, Chipchura and D'Agostini. In Bergeron, S Kost, Darche, Trotter.

Sorry Huz my head caught in too much smoke. The point is that the habs raised season tickets and have to do everything possible to give a show to the people who are paying for their profits. If it doesn't p*ssed people to see them saving for a cushion instead of giving a chance to a drafted player who can play for the next 10 years, ot to give a glimpse of hope and send Subban and let him free on the ice, no restriction. No we have Belle and satisfied with that, i am not.

Just a thought for the fans who paid a little extra to get their seats. Those people will not have an extra cushion to see a team who wants to save a bonus cushion wich is never used by the way, usually it goes to the owner or it's management bonus. Who care's about the fans anyway. This management doesn't even respect their season tickets holders. Always digging more money and unhappy one can leave there is always another fool who will buy some. Other markets don't have this luxury but in MTL they sure use it.

Gainey trial is way too soon, i agree they should make it at the end of the year but this is going nowhere. He was hired to act as GM by past an new owners. Before even thinking of conducting a Gainey trial, this team has to loose way more games than that. There are some players who will have deceived so much that their contracts or draft will be in question. There will be a coach unable to consolidate a group of players in a team system in one year. On my list, the first round picks, second Jacques Martin system, third defense...way after that Gainey. Cuz if there is some damage the damage is already done, can't be worse.

Great job. I have one thing i would suggest. The coach grade. Martin does every call from lines to D. In Calgary he was outcoached by Sutter. Vignault put him in his back pocket, with speed in the middle of the ice the D was useless.

I understand that Weber was horrible 5-5 but he was called up for his PP point shot???? If they needed a 5-5 guy they should have called Carle.

Paccioretty is going down one line at a fast rate will it stop at 3 or 4th line ? Hown many jugs of beer can you drink before Latendresse score in a open net ? For me it's half a beer. Is it me or Stewart plays with a stick with no slap ? Speaking of slap, nice dance he did there, Chipchura is a better fighter. If Metropolit had played last game, opponent fourth line would not have score three goals can bet on that. Mathieu Darche, Tom Pyatt, Ryan White all have a chance to play in mtl the way it goes. No panic but, Paccioretti has not score a goal even in preseason this year. In two games he has no shot on goal yet.Same for D'Agostini. 1 shot on goal from Andrei Kostitsyn. This is 1 shot on goal for three players in 75 minutes on ice. After a tasteless camp from them,to 5 NHL games with no production even lasyness these players are NOT what the team needs to win it's share of games in a Markov less season. Solutions ? Ship Sergei K anywhere, get this out of Andrei head, there not the Sedin's they can be separated. And tell them to shoot the net.

I like him too but he is way too left shooting D for me. And yeah Subban is lower on the depth chart but it's wishful thinking here from a fan point of view, i want a show and emotion.

I am in the same bandwagon as bar, i want Subban. But not right now, just in time for the 6th game of the year, first game in Montreal. Two weeks more in AHL learning the game plan, apply it and bring some energy in Montreal. As hockey fans we want something to be excited about, hoping for Markov recovery and nearly play .500 is not something fun. It's either that or we do like people in Toronto wait for the Olympics to start to have the feeling we will win something this year. At least give hope to the fans, no other player in that organization can rush it and ignite the Bell centre. Between now and game 5 we will have plenty of time watching the 6 defensemen already with the team.

Laraque was not in that team either last year. In fact he was the first one to jump off the boat way before the injuries to Lang, Price and Tanguay. Before that, the players with a habs jersey were just playing good enough to win more games than they deserved. After the injuries the players with a habs jersey were even less a team than they were before.

Dandenault has been cut at San Jose camp. Nobody prooved better at Habs camp for 4th role winger and occasionnal help on D.

Well the habs were very lucky not to face Boston best players. Thomas, Wideman and Bergeron are enough to beat the Habs less Markov. O'byrne looks better so a lot of people say ??, ouch i should have taped the game and youtube it to show how many time he just threw the puck away or runnning out of position. Weber plays on one foot, it shows on the ice. Carle played a much better game than him. Pyatt was awful i retract what i said about him having a shot for the last spot, Stewart, Moen and Sergei K have just arrived at the camp, no more room for him. Plekanek looked good ?? he caused two turnovers in the second period and Halak had to make miracalous saves. And what followed was ok not any better, Metropolit could have done the same with the same wingers. Gomez on a good ice is not the same as a Rags Gomez, ouch he looked great in that game. Fun time ahead with Gionta and Markov. Halak is simply great, as usual, we should not be surprise.

When Bouillon signed in Nashville they said on CKAC that Boston,Rags were the other teams interested. This lead me to think that teams that are not happy with their prospects play are still shopping and there is some players not signed by anyone still available that could definely help the Habs in two areas where nobody stood up at the camp. Having Lang around would help a lot the chances of scoring. Dandenault is a better skater, than Pyatt, Chipchura, Stewart for a 4th line role. He knows is way around and skating the puck to the opponent zone is an effective way to kill seconds off on 4th line duties. And i like his wife too...

There is a lot of talks around for the 2th line but there is a battle for 4th line and press gallery back up guy. And it seems nobody wants it so there Tom Pyatt in the run for a role in there. It's under the radar but i am surprised of Tom Pyatt play, he is better all around than i thought. Good skater, puck control, defense is good and hustles hard in opponent zone. He is still at the camp and he has a shot at a 4th line job. I do not know if i am wrong there but Stewart does not have a good camp, so does Chipchura. Who else can fit in there with Metropolit and Laraque ?? So my line up has for today is A Kost- Gomez- Gionta Cammalleri- Plekanek- D'Agostini Latendresse-Lapierre-Moen Pyatt-Metropolit-Laraque Markov- Spacek Hamrlik- Gorges Mara- Gill O'byrne

If we had Kovalev we would have no Gionta.
