  1. I didn't mean he's a "cancer", but more like a player that doesn't put the team first. À la Subban. As much as he's good and gives his 100%, what he does on the ice and in the locker room is not team oriented. They do their best, they're good at what they do, but what they do is for their own success as part of the team success instead of the opposite. That's what we read on HFBoards, Twitter, etc. Not that he is a bad teammate or fights with coaches. Edit : now, I believe it's up to the coaching staff tu use psychology and get these players on board with teams' concept. But at one point, it's more difficult with some than some others. Hall seems to be one of them. Like Subban. Personnaly, I love the skills these guys have and what they bring to the game. But they better not be in your leadership group, and when these guys have great skills (like Hall and PK for instance) they end up being paid and receiving lot of icetime. If we have to end up with such players in our lineup, I'd prefer if they would have a less important role on the team, like Athanasiou or Del Zotto.
  2. They also have the equivalent of Weber-Petry ahead of him on LD in Hedman and McDonagh. (even better if you ask me) My point being : if he was RH, he would probably play with Hedman over Rutta and Cernak.
  3. That's what happens when 3 dmen are not in the right chair. None of the LD has anything to do in their respective spot. Even with Chiarot healthy it is so. Everyone of them is 1 step higher than he's supposed to. Bergevin hasn't done shit to get a #1 LD since Markov is gone. Oh, my bad, he drafted one. And traded him to Tampa Bay.
  4. Thinking that MB would bring Taylor Hall in his locker room after parting with Subban for "off ice reasons" is lunacy. As much as he's skilled, Taylor Hall is a team killer. Let other teams kill themselves.
  5. Danault : Yeah I just scored my first of the season, knew it was coming. Petry : That's cute. I juste scored my 10th. Danault : Yeah, but I have all the big defensive missions. Petry : You mean, like a defenseman ?
  6. He’s on 40 goals pace, sure. But also a 12 assists pace.
  7. My criteria is roughly "Who would I pick on my team?" Maybe not in my top 25 for RW is a bit extreme though.
  8. Only for RW, I don't have Josh in my Top 25, let alone C and LW. Anderson is NOWHERE near a star FW.
  9. Caufiled as a star forward is more likely 3 years away than 1.5 in my opinion.
  10. Does this come with some kind of agreement that Brisebois has to play top 6 or something ?
  11. To be fair, take any team's 10 best games of the season and their production will most likely be "woeful".
  12. Don't rush things here. MB took 6 years to fix #1C (is it fixed though?) Only 4 years for #1LD. He still has time.
  13. I'd be very fine with treating over the boards just like icings. Faceoff in your zone, no change up, no timeout allowed for your team. The penalty is, IMO, unnecessery.
  14. About Ducharme, can we not use DD on this message board ? I read David Desharnais all the time.
  15. About that... I still have an avatar of Plekanec's playoffs performance.
  16. So Gallagher had time to get run over by the dman, get up, make the deflection, but the goalie didn’t have time to get back into play ?!?!?! Terrible.
  17. The downfall of the NYR's season is quite amazing. DeAngelo gone. Zibanejad totally MIA (has like 4 points in 20 games) Adam Fox also very quiet and now Panarin with some Voynov kind of problems in Russia after showing support to Navalny I, for one, is shocked by all of this. I was seing the NYR quite big before season started, even drafted Shesterkin AND the NYR as a Team in my fantasy pool along with Buchnevich.
  18. Either you spend 13,5M on goalies or you have shitty backup. Can't really have both, or at least, without gambling on your backup hoping he turns out putting Ws all season long.
  19. His cap hit is less than 3M$. Give me a break with Allen's cap hit. Unless you absolutely want to go with a 6 figures backup. Byron's cap hit is higher than that. I say Pay a pick ton unload Byron if necessary. Keep Allen if you're serious about going deep in the playoffs.
  20. Why not extend that quality backup for one more season into the "Price-Weber" window ???
  21. Like I said, do not sell the farm at no cost. A 2nd pick to pick anyone but Jake Allen... Instead of losing Jake Allen. IMO, it's a good move.
