i still think Plekanec is not good enough to be a 1st center, regardless of who you fill the bottom lines with, I like the idea of flipping pleks and someone else for a bonifide number 1, and having eller play in the Number 2 spot....

I do this in a heart beat, then I go out and get some meaness on the bottom two lines. I want a couple of guys who will get angry and start hurting people. In the mold of Chris Neil (can still contribute on a regular basis but will get angry and stand up for his team ) then I fire JM and bring in Bob Hartley to unleash the tuff guys if need be. I remember a game he coached for Atlanta (one of his last there) it was a gong show and I loved it. I want teams to fear us like they fear the Bruins. Emelyn is a good start but there is just not enough ugliness to our games right now. When the game gets chippy we lose, its that simple. We just cant compete with the tougher teams in the league. We all complain about the Bruins Gooning it up, but they can because they have the biggest, toughest guy in the league, Chara. And they just won the Cup. We could definaltely use a little bit of that over here.... if we dont win the cup at least it would be fun to watch. Better than the shit I've been seeing from our team this year. Plus With the goalie we have, if we build a better defence we would be unstoppable.......go after Weber if he is available break the bank on him....he is worth it.

thats not a bad idea but I really dont want to see moen with Pleks and Cammy. I am actually starting to think that Plekanec could be a mismatch with alot of our wingers.....

all i know is that if we dont start winning we will miss the playoffs......i think that a fresh set of eyes on the bench, with a new approach will be a welcome change for many of the Vets on the team...maybe we should move one or two of the smaller players but that should happen after a coaching change. I dont think that the guys have given up but I do think that the system has to change. We have too many good young guys on the team to be this bad....we need a change of perspective.

the longer this situation carries on with Gomez the harder it will be for the rest of the team to ignore his lack of production....I would be pissed if i was Eller or Kosty watching Gomez get more ice time for less production. with our luck PG will probly trade Eller for complaining about it

unless gomez is moved/buried before this summer i dont see how we can keep this team together next year......Subban,Price,Kosty, DD, Gorges, Eller, the rest fo the D besides Markov all have expiring contracts. Out of that group I see Kosty as the most likely to be traded for assets.... perhaps a certain Dman from Nashville so move Gomez or lose one of the more valuble pieces of the team...most likely Kosty
