  1. 4-3 win in shootout, Scherbak with winning shootout goal (Audette also scored). http://theahl.com/game-summary?game_id=1016164
  2. Seemed a very sloppy game. Scherbak took a braindead selfish penalty cross checking late, they had a 5 on 3 that wasn't very good. Andrighetto seemed very whiney; he got pissed, banging stick and giving Nicky the evil eye when Scherbak gave puck away when he was wide open on the point. Then with less than 1 minute left, he was open beside net and slamming stick on the ice, till I think he thought he actually broke it and then seemed to give up on play. And the defense looked terrible overall, but was just Redman's 1st game. Lindgren didn't have a hope on either goal.
  3. Was Weber a big advocate? We know he was asked about Radulov, but did Weber have both good and negative comments? Bergevin risked just offering a 1 year deal, when supposedly other teams offered two, so Bergevin must not of been totally sold by Fedorov and Weber references?
  4. Not a problem, anytime. But, really was overkill on the critique. We all know none of them will ever be Bobby Orr's, but still deserve some respect don't they?
  5. Agree, but some also talking about adding/needing a top 4 d-man and 1/4 way through the season you likely would be looking for more than just a rental. And whatever it would cost to get a top six centre, it wont be Desharnais or Emelin or some other spare part...it will be something of pretty darn high value or why else would anyone part with a top six centre? Also, many have fallin in love with Sergachev and say he is untouchable, when he is just a solid prospect and many high pick d-men simply end up being mediocre #3 or 4 d-men in the end. You know and always say most fans overvalue prospects which I agree with, when in fact very few end up being impact NHLers. So for a rebuilding team Seragchev may not ever be of higher value than after all the hype and press he has received.
  6. Hudon 4pts in 6 NHL games, even with limited icetime...is he for real and can keep the offense up? 13 minutes ago, illWill said: "I would support selling the future in order to give us the best chance at winning now I think I would too" So who do you think we should trade Sergachev to...Ducks, Coyotes, Buffalo, or maybe Oilers?
  7. Well, I think you are now being overly harsh on Pateryn, he has had some lame turnovers but hasn't been terrible, some don't even think he has played poorly at all. And Beaulieu had a string of bad games, no one would argue he hadn't. But, he actually looked bit better in his last two, which didn't help Pateryn any, as he was in pressbox. Anyways, hopefully 3rd pairing can at least hold their own and the old guy dosent have to play 30 minutes again.
  8. Pateryn has been coughing up puck with weak turnovers in own end and almost seems like confidence is gonzo and he has admitted that he is finding hard to get it back and stay positive, playing with a weak partner like Beaulieu also hasnt helped.
  9. Poppycock! 67 & 11 just need to get back to how they played in the past and simply go to net more and put more pucks on net. Why Gallagher isn't accidently-on purpose falling into or onto opposing goalies every game, has nothing to do with that culled ex-hab and Pacioretty is a full shot/game less than was in past, which also has zero to do with that culled ex-hab.
  10. dlbalr already spoke to this. "He has rebounded well after a terrible start to the season, especially in the defensive where he and (I think) Johnston were getting lit up routinely. He didn't look good at all in the preseason and quickly fell behind Redmond on the depth chart." And don't think his defense is good and why he is likely #8 or 9th on depth chart. And for sure Bergevin will be a bit nervous every shift he and Pateryn are on. Hopefully Pateryn gives his head a shake and is much stronger moving the puck, but likely he just doesnt have the confidence that is needed.
  11. If Kapernick actually voted, might of been a bit more credible, but supposedly opted out on that as well. But, got obsoletely no problem with his anthem protest.
  12. McNivan 1st star, 1g 41 shots, stopped 3 of 4 in shootout over London. http://ontariohockeyleague.com/article/wednesday-highlights-mcniven-parsons-duel-to-the-finish game recap/highlights Juulsen had no points while his goalie Carter Hart with another shutout and virtually carrying Everett, who are one of best in WHL, easily 1st in goals against; but are just 15th in goals for in WHL.
  13. Fixed that for you and I agree neither will be traded anytime soon.
  14. Galchenyuk 5th in scoring and Markov/Weber tied for 1st in d scoring. Habs PP is 5th, but PK is now 15th. At least Pacioretty must of had some signs of life with 5 shots and they outshot them 39-23. I assume Price had a poor game?
  15. Neil was the only one I have ever seen to drop Chara in a fight. (Chara was always chasing Komisarik and Phaneuf around but they just ran and hid from him)
