  1. Yes they won, not a real tough opponent though. McCarron had a good game, too bad he only had 10minutes, but Chucky and Eller had better minutes. Danault also looked fine.
  2. Cant see Habs losing this one...unless Subban, Markov and Pacioretty all take a therapy day and don't play and Scrivins does play.
  3. So by your thinking HR, you likely think Subban, Galchenyuk and Pacioretty should go on a 6 week vacation starting now and avoid any sharp objects or risky activities till October.
  4. The Big Gorilla is gonna play is he! He should at least give the Leafs a PP or two, so seems a good call if of the tanking kind.
  5. Addison 2g 1a & was 1st star in 8-2 beatdown. Bradley gets his 20th & was 2nd star in 2-0 win.
  6. I like deal, well done, now just hope Hawks suck in 2017-18. Kinda like Minni is doing, currently Habs pick 9th, 39th, 40th
  7. And Hudon just came back from injury (or sickness?), so likely not him. Scherbak has been chipping in on the offense lately or maybe Holloway? The Swede has been fairly quiet.
  8. In the 8-11th pick range, these all seem like good options Clayton Keller C/LW, Big Gauthier RW, Dubois LW/C, Bean LH-d 5'10" 165 6'3" 225 6'1" 180 6'1" 175 (With Price returning (or not), safe to say that the Habs wont be picking in top 5)
  9. Why today, dosent seem to make sense? Think big picture, think of all the money G.M. will save by Bergy not firing MT, since have to pay him anyways.
  10. What happened to Sekac? He seemed like Eller, could skate/forecheck and handled puck well.
  11. HR it simply isn't as easy as that. Don't worry!
  12. If happens to get signed, will it likely be NHL deal or allowed to go back to SHL? Or would he likely get his feet wet in AHL to start.
  13. Jarred Cowen is on waivers, Tinordi 2.0 if Habs want a re-do.
  14. Right on, great to hear he is progressing. Beaulieu out for 2-3 weeks, will Ellis get the call-up?
  15. dlbalr made a good argument against that Q-coach
  16. Like Sabres post Hasek you mean Mr. Stogey, or maybe Aves with no Roy. (and remove NHL MVP from a team that also had zero all-star forwards, what do you expect Therrien to do, suit up and score himself?)
  17. And Oilers won because of Gretzky, Pitt won because had Mario, Habs won because of Roy, so what is your point?
  18. Nugent Hopkins if dealt likely would be a june/july deal, I would guess. Obviously Hab Mgmt has eyes on one or more of the two teams. Pearson is a LW but might fit.
  19. Habs picking 9th at the moment, I know d-men wouldn't be a poplar pick at all, but promising kid and might be good option. About the youngest kid in draft and turns 18 in Sept. Jake Bean LH WHL d-man, 6'0" 176lb 4th in d-scoring 59gms 22g 56pts. (had 39pts in 51gms as a rookie)
  20. Am a Plekanec fan and he just seems to be so undervalued by vast majority year after year, or that is how I see it anyhow. Is too bad there will be no playoff run at all this year, his critics love to point out his "little girl" performance in playoffs so far and would like to see him have at least one big post season as a Hab. (maybe Bergevin can find a skilled centre this summer, too maybe help take some pressure off him to both defend top opponents and help offensively, Nugent-Hopkins for Beaulieu and pick maybe?)
  21. BUT but but...well OK, most coaches seem to have a short shelf life and Therrien has never been a popular choice at all, bring on Crawford? Is he the one most are OK with (for now), or is it Bouche that most want to see behind the bench? dlbalr noted Jet assistant coach as option for Bergevin. I really don't care, was never a huge Therrien fan, just couldn't understand why so many disliked him when team was near top of standings ever since he was hired and also liked to goad HR and rest of Therrien haters obviously. But, no sense complaining now till late April, as he likely is a dead coach walking (but would it ever be 'interesting' if Bergevin gave him stay of execution and actually kept him on, so many HabFans would simply lose it ).
