If Armia is healthy. I am worried that he may be a "COVID-long" case (having post-COVID symptoms that stay a long time). I would trade Lehkonen instead for Foligno to take his spot on the 4th line, and bump it up to a 2nd and 3rd in 2021 if CBJs retains 50% salary A Foligno that can score a dozen goals and provide a more gritty play than Lehkonen would be great for the playoffs. Next year, one of the prospects in Laval can take his spot.
-
CBJ’s Foligno rumoured you be on the market and Dregger saying he may fit in the Habs lineup
-
I missed the game how did the Poehling line play?
-
I had a typo, meant to say it is too bad they have not been able to *force* the hand of MB to sign them early I hope they continue developing and we see them with the Habs in a couple of years
-
I am still impressed with Mysak. Good on the kid to earn the contract ... and too bad the others could not force the Habs hand on an early contract
-
they may score more than Lehkonen on the 4th line !
-
Impressive to me that a smallish 2020 2nd round pick gets signed where J. Olofsson (2018), Struble (2019), Norlinder (2019) have not yet been signed It may be because the OHL is not playing, and he has been playing well in the Rocket’s bottom 6 Good news!

New players means new lines - What would you do?

it is more support for my belief that Dom is giving KK more defensive responsibilities to prepare him for a bigger role with the team KK has played against top line lately and with Byron and Lehkonen recently. He needs to be as reliable as Danault to become a top 6 center -
Love it!
-
Not me, I would not bring up Caufield before he has had a chance to play a handful of games in Laval. This is not training camp. Poehling, Ylonen (before injury), Blandisi and Weal are more deserving
-
I think is the old trick of lighting a fire under certain player’s skates KK is the future but not currently playing as a top 6 NHL Center
-
thanks for checking that. When I checked this year’s stats he seemed to be hovering around 20 probably got my stats confused with another player I figures he could come in and be another Kulak for the Habs Rhat is why I feel the 2nd round pick is too much
-
Interesting to see Dom is keeping Suzuki-Anderson together and giving to talented wingers to Staal. I am impressed by how much he is willing to switch the lineup around quicker that CJ used to. I like it

Looking at teams out of the playoffs with some cap room, maybe we can pull this one off. Although I find the 2nd drft pick expensive for the Habs: To PHI: 2021 2nd round pick & Armia($2.6M) & Mete($0.7) To Montreal: Robert Hagg (LD $1.6M signed until 2022) & Wyatte Wylie(RD prospect) The Habs get a decent top 4 LD on a cheap contract, cap space and an RD with some potential Phily gets a big fast bottom 6 player that seems to fit with their club. A LD that can play RD and can move the puck and a good draft pick. Hagg is currently in the IR, but should be coming out in a week and because he has not been with the team he has (hopefully) been away from any COVID outbreaks With more than half the the season gone, I think the salaries fit under the cap.

Lavalagher gets empty net goal, 4-2 Laval
-
3-2 with 39 seconds to go after Stockton scored
-
2min to go, 6-5 with goalie out of net for Stockton
-
I don't know why I am surprised, i thought the taxi squad was for players that could play if called upon. Injured players can't play... my take on it is obviously wrong
-
bad coverage on the Stockton 4th line by Ouellet/Olofsson and it's 3-1
-
Poehling scored on a shot return, 3-0 Laval!
-
Weal to Veilleux, 2-0 Laval! weird, it seemed like hte play was in slow motion to me.

He will probably struggle but I hope it is only in one game out of four, or half the games at most. I would sit him every fourth game during that stretch if we had an RD that could take his minutes without being a pilon on the ice -
