  1. That's what I think too. A. Shaw? Lehkonen? Byron?
  2. I wish they plus try Hudon at center instead of DLR I am sure we would be fine, for example with Byron and A.Shaw
  3. well, I still think the return for Pleks was good: a 2nd round draft and a D prospect that could play 3rd pair LD next year. And a throw in with more potential than Ott/King/Martinse last year That is a decent return
  4. The scouting reports on Richel show more potential for him than Froese, for example. We'll know better tomorrow afternoon. We have too many 3rd/4th liners, I hope we tread some for picks.
  5. Expecting to be traded: Pacioretty, Schlemko Want traded: delaRose, Lenkohnen, Carr, L.Shaw, Schlemko and two 2018 2nd draft picks to get a 1C and another D prospect.
  6. Me neither, but he will need to clear waivers next year and unless they trade him he will ride with the team like DLR this year
  7. Not bad. An upgrade on Jerabek, a 2nd round draft and a 3rd/4th line LW with some grit
  8. I am happy on the return, more than what was expected. I do not see a reason to criticize MB on this one.
  9. Alzner seemed to play better with Juulsen than with Petry.
  10. Thanks, let's hope another year in the AHL helps him
  11. I was looking at the roster and I would definitely trade Plekanec, Hemsky, delaRose, Petry and Lehkonen and commit to tanking the rest of the way; for example by playing Hudon at center the rest of the way. The return should be decent to help us retool. That should get us a young NHL centre, a D prospect and a few extra draft picks to rebuild the pipeline.
  12. You can do this MB Give them Petry, two 2nds Lenkohnen and/or delaRose
  13. Is McCarron improving his game? Do these numbers show he's developing ? If I remember correctly, he cannot be waived next year
  14. He could be traded for future considerations or conditional pick
  15. Ok, with the right package on either side to balance it out. I think Drouin can move over Patches' spot and we will only have the 1C hole to fill
  16. Those BC boys really know how to tank
  17. I agree Past mistakes should not tilt tilt the decision the wrong way in Pleks. As an asset, he needs to be used for the biggest return Granted, but it is time for #14 to contribute to the teams success by being traded
  18. I have not read yet if Montreal is in McDonagh's no trade list. But I would trade Pacioretty, Lehkonen and (throw in) Morrow for McDonagh & draft pick
  19. Plekanec is the softest on the team; he has always been. Pacioretty is not as bad as most people say. He is still one of my favorites, but I would not mind trading him it the return was puck moving LD that can be #2 with Weber and have some grit. Anything less makes would not get this team out of being a bottom-feeding club for the next few years
  20. Thanks Carey for another shot at top 5 draft picks! #allinforDahlin
  21. Tanking is going well right now, we should get a pick in the top 5 if the Canadiens do not trade a Pacioretty at the deadline for a stud LD, because that would hurt our chances of finishing lower in the standings. I think that Drouin can replace Patches on LW, so traiding 67 in the summer for a Center would be the way I would do it. At the trade deadline this week I would package Pleks with some sub-par players like Schlemko, DLR, Froese, etc to get an up-and-coming D or get more draft picks, but nothing that would improve the club this season: to tank all the way to the bottom. Having Dahlin play with Weber next year would be awesome
  22. I think pro-scouting has been wrong in evaluating UFAs recently which has contributed to the current mess. Danny Dubé made the point yesterday that the CH has underevaluated roster players and overevaluayed players from outside he organization I was basing my comment on that
