  1. Someone is being a dick hitting me over and over and over again... and in this thread they were all disagreeing with you... but if you say it isn't, i believe you. I was at 620 like a week ago... I believe you though, so Take a +
  2. How many have been handed out to me this week? And in this thread.
  3. He's gotta sit in the press box for a bit... see the game from above and what is happening. He needs some coaching when his concussion is gone, but there might be something salvageable there. Or it could never come back. I don't know. But its not the skating, so its a good chance there might be a useful player if the coaching staff can unlock it. He struggled when he first got to Dallas too, and then was much better after being benched and having a sit down with Lindy Ruff.
  4. The point is you never thought Semin was given a fair shake, but in less ice time with similar production, you are convinced Hemsky's done.
  5. McCarron is the perfect skilled player who can centre a line with those two creative wingers.... exactly what i had in mind. /sarcasm
  6. Hemsky is not fitting on this team right now. He's out of position a lot. I'm not sure why that is... chemistry, not understanding Julien's system, or what that is. I see him move, and he can skate... but he's behind the play cause he is very slow to read the play and react and figure out where he's going. To me, that says he's not washed up. His mind should be able to pick up the system in time, and then his feet will follow. Its different from Semin and Streit to me, cause Semin and Streit couldn't skate. When i see an old player who can't skate as fast anymore that tells me he's done. I'm not seeing that in Hemsky.
  7. Hemsky's played less games than Semin, with less ice time, and basically the same results. Just saying.
  8. The point was that it doesn't take an insane winning streak to come back from one bad month. The leafs didn't have a crazy winning streak. They were just solid every other month.
  9. Habs had 22 men on the roster with Schlemko being moved back to IR on Friday (per cap friendly) Not sure where they got an extra spot to call up two forwards, though I suspect we'll be hearing an announcement of Hemsky to IR given that he left the last game and didn't return for the 2nd or 3rd periods.
  10. 1g 1a last night for poehling. 8 points in 5 games.
  11. Petry is a second pair defenceman, paid like a second pair defenceman, who performs like a second pair defenceman (doesn't have the consistency to be a number 1). \ He is what he is. He has some bad plays, but thats why he is not a #1. and makes 5.75 instead of 8.5
  12. Yes they can. If they can play 650 outside of a small stretch that got Therrien fired last year, there is No reason to believe that this isn't the "bad stretch" this year. They have just given themselves no room for another slump.
  13. Patches playeda darn good game after making those comments. I dont see that "he didnt throw himself into the fire" I also dont see a team that gets 30 shots in a period as being a team of players that has dialed out. The lossesare frustrating.. but that doesnt make a narrative that the team js giving no effort true.
  14. I think this roster is good enough to be a playoff team... even win the division. I have no confidence in MB to get it to the next level
  15. One good period in seven games? Have you been watching the same games i have? Have you been watching the same games the statisticians have? As for being a team with poor goaltending? Yes price has played poorly so far. Do you expect that will comtinue indefinitely? Do you think price is going to continue as one of the leagues worst.?
  16. The points thrown away are concerning. That said didnt the team have a stretch of being like 1-6-1 or something very similar before therrien was fired last year. There is no room for error now. They have dug a hole where they cant have a second streak like this over the course of the season. But if thats the swoon out of the way....
  17. I mean you want to sum up the bounces in the game....Kevin Bieksa breaks his stick, and the puck skids sideways and it sets up montour for a perfect one-timer into an open net. Thats theluck this team has right now. Bieksa breaks his stick and the puck hops in such a way that its the best pass he's made in five years.
  18. You want to talk shot quality... its factored into xpected goals Tonight... based on quality.... xG was 5.16 - 3.72 in favor of montreal.
